As always, as a hairdresser, I’m trying to meet my client’s needs without ever compromising the condition of the hair 🤍

This client had some existing blonde highlights through the ends, so rather than over-lightening, I worked with what was already there.

✨ Retoned the existing blonde
✨ Added a soft face frame
✨ Created a money piece through the fringe
✨ Touched up the roots
✨ Light trim while she continues to grow her hair

The brighter pieces around the face gave her so much definition and honestly made her eyes completely pop 😍

Home care is such a vital part of the work I do too. I always encourage my clients to work alongside me between appointments so we can maintain the condition, colour and overall health of the hair and get the absolute best from every service.

✨ New client transformation ✨

This was my client’s first visit to the salon. Her hair was quite dry, so rather than jumping straight in with a full head of highlights, I chose a half head to protect the integrity of her hair.

Although she will eventually benefit from a full head of highlights, healthy hair always comes first. My priority is creating beautiful colour while maintaining the condition of the hair.

For this appointment, I softened the previous solid blonde by introducing more dimension with carefully placed lowlights, then toned everything at the basin to create a softer, more natural finish.

I also recommended a home care routine to help rehydrate the hair, smooth the cuticle and improve its overall condition. As the hair becomes healthier over the coming months, we can gradually increase the brightness, add more multi-dimensional tones, and bring the blonde further up through the back.

Hair transformations don’t always happen in one appointment—and that’s okay. Sometimes the healthiest approach gives the most beautiful long-term results.
