Hair Café Salon in Dublin’s Smithfield celebrates a decade in business Founded in 2016 by Anita and Steve Kucsera, the pair said that their 10th birthday is an incredibly proud and emotional milestone for them. Together, they have more than 50 years’ experience across the hair, beauty and wellness industry.

The Hairdressing Competition, sponsored by Capital Hair & Beauty Ireland, was won by student Simon Smith, while Emma Marron won the Beauty Therapy Competition, sponsored by Suzanne Egan Academy.

Meanwhile, Irish talent was recognised on the international stage as Ella Graham Harvey won a Medal for Excellence in Beauty Therapy for Team Ireland at WorldSkills Shanghai 2026
