Guide me throughout this semester, Oh Lord🙏🏿
Irish Nurse in a bit!
After their father's funeral, four siblings discovered a sealed envelope hidden inside his desk.
Along with the envelope was news that he had left behind an estate worth $950,000.
Inside the letter, their father wrote, "Before anyone talks about money, have dinner together tonight without discussing the inheritance."
The siblings thought it was an odd request but agreed.
That evening, they laughed about childhood memories, shared stories they hadn't told in years, and realized how much time had slipped away.
The next morning, the conversation about the inheritance was surprisingly calm. Instead of arguing over every dollar, they focused on what felt fair and respected one another's wishes.
One sister later admitted that the dinner had reminded her that family was already the greatest gift.
If you knew an inheritance discussion might create conflict, would you postpone it to focus on family first, or settle the money immediately?
What would you do?
Untreated high blood pressure (hypertension) is one of the leading causes of kidney failure.
High blood pressure can damage the tiny blood vessels (glomeruli) in the kidneys over time.
When this happens, the kidneys cannot filter waste and excess fluid effectively.
Waste products build up in the blood and kidney function gradually declines, which can eventually lead to chronic kidney disease (CKD) or kidney failure if not treated.
To everyone living with high blood pressure, please don't take your health for granted.
Check your blood pressure regularly, take your medications as prescribed, maintain a healthy weight, eat a balanced diet, stay physically active, and keep your medical appointments.
Prevention is always better than cure.
Stay safe, stay healthy, and take good care of yourself. ❤️
When last did you check your BP?

This week, walk into your new beginning with confidence.
Let go of what drained you.
Release what hurt you.
Embrace what grows you.
And trust that God is already ahead of you, preparing doors you haven’t even imagined.
Your new beginning is not coming — it has already started.
Have a beautiful Sunday, Fam❤️❤️❤️

On this day one year ago, I walked into my nursing school for the very first time — these pictures were taken on that exact day.
I came in with fear, doubt, and about ten thousand questions.
Starting nursing at 40? As a matured student? And with zero science background from secondary school?
My mind was doing press‑ups!!!
Before I got the admission, I wrote the aptitude test while heavily pregnant. I wasn’t sure I’d pass — in fact, I was already preparing myself for “maybe next year.”
But God said, “Stand up, you’re going in.”
I got offered a place in the first round, and I accepted with joy and small disbelief 😅
Fast‑forward one year later... I have completed Year 1.
I survived the lectures, the placements, the exams, the late nights, the early mornings — and I’m genuinely proud of myself.
Starting this journey at 40 was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.
If I can do it — with kids, work, fear, and zero science background — you can do it too.
Age is not a barrier.
Background is not a barrier.
Your mind is the only barrier, and you can overcome that.
And let me add this part because it matters:
On my first day, I met four amazing women — Rebecca, Angelika, Funke, and Nikki — and one year later, we’re still friends 🥰🥰🥲
Community matters.
Support matters.
And nursing has given me both.
Here’s to Year 2, growth, courage, and proving to yourself that it’s never too late to start.
