It was such a pleasure creating this natural, elegant bridesmaid makeup look for Anna, keeping the focus on her beautiful features while allowing those phenomenal royal green dresses to really pop! đź’š One of the most stunning bridesmaid dress colours!
As each bridesmaid had a different hairstyle, we tailored their makeup slightly to complement their individual features and overall look.
For Anna, we went with lovely cool tones to complement her beautiful fair complexion, focusing on the eyes and lips to enhance her gorgeous eyes.

4 makeup mistakes I see all the time as a makeup artist with 20+ years’ experience in the bridal industry 🤍
Over the years, I’ve noticed a few simple things that can make a big difference to how your makeup looks and wears throughout the day. Here are four common mistakes that are easily adjusted:
✨ 1. Not exfoliating regularly
Gently exfoliating regularly helps to remove dead skin cells and leaves your skin smoother, brighter and ready for your makeup.
✨ 2. Stopping your foundation at your jawline
Your makeup shouldn’t just stop at your face! Make sure you blend your foundation seamlessly down onto your neck so there’s no obvious difference in colour.
✨ 3. Using the wrong products for your skin type
It’s so easy to be influenced by what’s trending or what works for someone else, but your skin is unique. Whether you’re oily, combination or dry, make sure you’re choosing products that are right for your skin.
✨ 4. Skipping your skin prep
Good makeup starts with good skin prep. Hydration and the right primer create the perfect base and can make such a difference to how your makeup applies and lasts.
These are just a few of the common mistakes I see and thankfully, they’re all easy to fix! 🤍
