How I became a bridal makeup artist 🤍

I love watching these videos so I thought it was about time I did my own. When you’re booking someone, it’s so important that you know who you’re booking & put a face to the name.

I trained as a makeup artist in cosmetics retail, working for Bobbi Brown for over seven years and then another seven with MAC. I worked with the most incredible people - trainers, colleagues, friends and learned so much along the way.

Ten years ago, after my son Leo was born, it was time to pursue my career as a freelance makeup artist. My style is quite soft glam and I love a natural look and making people look like themselves, just a more polished version.

With makeup, you’re always learning. But the wedding morning is my absolute favourite. I always say it’s the first time you’ll see everything come together - your makeup, your shoes, your flowers, your whole vision. You’ll never see all of that together until that morning, and it’s just so beautiful to be a part of that.
