Human Arc
Where science meets sensation. Infrared Sauna & Cold Plunge, Red Light Therapy, Hyperbaric Oxygen (HBOT), Facials.
We all face moments where life gets busier and stress creeps in. Sometimes our good routines and habits fall to the wayside during these periods. I like to remind myself that it’s okay when this happens, it’s just a question of making space and reprioritizing the things that make me feel good. Because it’s those very routines that make me a more resilient person.
That same resilience is what’s carrying Human Arc into an exciting new chapter. We’ve just secured investment for a second location, opening in Fall 2026. I’m so excited to share this news with you! Stay tuned, more updates coming soon.

I spent 15 years building legal arguments that had to hold up under cross-examination. When I left law for longevity, I put my own habits on trial.
What didn’t hold up:
❌ Chasing the quick fix. Injectables that treat symptoms while the cell underneath stays the same.
❌ Skipping recovery. Rest isn’t downtime, it’s when repair actually happens, and most people can’t tell you when they’ve actually recovered.
❌ Not listening and tuning into my body and ignoring the impact of stress.
What habits are you trying to remove from your life?
These past few weeks I’ve been on a summer health challenge. Life’s been busy the last couple of months, and I wanted to carve out time to get back on track with my routine.
My top priority: nutrition, especially protein intake. It’s the building block for muscle repair and keeps me fuller for longer, which makes the rest of the plan easier to stick to.
Paired with weight training for strength and metabolic health, and cardio for cardiovascular capacity and recovery.
I’ve also set myself a challenge: 5 HBOT sessions and 5 saunas. It’s a lot, but I have the time right now, and it’s become my way of taking care of myself.
I’ve been feeling good and more energized, and my Whoop data is confirming it. Stay tuned, I’ll be sharing results soon!
I used to finish work completely wired, unable to switch off. I found that just 3 minutes in cold water changed that.
Cold immersion triggers a surge of norepinephrine, the hormone that blunts stress, sharpens focus, and stabilises mood for hours after. Physically, the cold drives inflammation out of your muscles, while vasoconstriction makes my blood vessels more responsive.
The best part of cold plunge is taking me out of fight or flight response so that I can focus when I need to and turn off when my day is done.
If this sounds familiar, come try it for yourself!

Most people brace for the cold like it’s a test to survive. Grit your teeth, hit thirty seconds, get out. But that’s not where the real work happens.
The real shift starts underneath: a flood of norepinephrine that rewires how your nervous system handles stress, teaching your body to find calm instead of panicking through it. Do it once and you feel sharp for a few hours. Keep showing up and something deeper changes, inflammation drops, recovery speeds up, mitochondria multiply, your mood stabilises.
It’s not about surviving the cold. It’s about what your body builds when you keep returning to it.
Each modality we offer is chosen because it supports angiogenesis:
🫧 HBOT (hyperbaric oxygen therapy) creates a hyperoxic-hypoxic oscillation which upregulates angiogenic genes over the course of repeated sessions.
🚨Red light therapy works at the mitochondrial level, giving your cells the energy they need to repair and regenerate tissue.
💦 Infrared sauna raises core temperature enough to trigger heat shock proteins, which support tissue health and help build new vascular pathways.
🧊 Cold plunge trains your blood vessels themselves, forcing them to constrict and dilate. Over time, that responsiveness is what makes them stronger.
Four modalities. One underlying mechanism to help your body build the infrastructure it needs to repair itself.
We’re giving away our signature 2.5-hour recovery protocol for you and a friend!

Your heart needs energy, oxygen, and clear blood vessels. Turns out, specific wavelengths of light may help support all three.
Red and near-infrared light therapy (photobiomodulation) is emerging as a non-invasive way to support mitochondrial function, circulation, and vascular repair for heart health, particularly for individuals recovering from myocardial infarction or stroke.
We’re not saying it replaces the fundamentals - exercise, sleep, and nutrition remain the foundation. But as an adjunct to lifestyle medicine, the early research is genuinely exciting.

My two ride-or-die sunscreens 🌞
For everyday wear under makeup I recommend .It’s super lightweight, blends into skin like nothing’s there. Doesn’t cause any issues (ie pilling) with serums or foundation.
For hot, humid days when I’m exercising outdoors, I like the SHISEIDO HK Perfect Sun Protector Clear stick. It gives very good protection if you’re on the water or sweating. Can’t live without these two!

When you step into infrared, the light penetrates deeper than a traditional sauna’s dry heat ever could, working at the tissue level instead of just the surface. Here is what the research actually shows.
Circulation is the clearest, best-supported benefit. Infrared heat redirects a significant share of blood flow to the skin, delivering oxygen and nutrients straight to the cells responsible for repair and renewal. That is what gives you the flush and glow after a session.
Detox happens through the sweat itself. Deep sweating opens pores and helps clear the buildup that contributes to congestion and breakouts, supporting a clearer, more even complexion.
None of this is instant. Like most things worth doing for your skin, it is cumulative. Consistency is what turns a good session into a visible result.
