NOTICE ON HIGH POLYPHENOL WILD OLIVE OIL

Wild olive trees and Wild Olive Oil represent a highly distinctive category of olive varieties and olive oils. The higher the polyphenol concentration, the deeper and more vivid the green colour, while bitterness, pungency, and the characteristic peppery throat sensation become progressively stronger.

- approximately 2000 mg/kg: deep, dark green, with a very strong bitter and peppery character.
- approximately 2500 mg/kg: very deep, vivid dark green, with stronger peppery intensity and throat sensation.
- approximately 3000 mg/kg: exceptionally vivid, intensely dark green, with a powerful peppery and warming throat sensation.
- approximately 3500 mg/kg: exceptionally intense dark green, with an extremely powerful and lingering peppery throat sensation.

The higher the polyphenol concentration, the more intense, bold, and distinctive the colour and sensory experience become.

It is evident that, particularly in the case of Wild Olive Oil, at polyphenol concentrations of approximately 2000 mg/kg and above, the chromatic intensity and depth of colour become progressively more pronounced, resulting in an increasingly bright, deep-dark green appearance.

IT IS OBVIOUS THAT YELLOW–LIGHT GREEN WILD OLIVE OIL:
- IS WILD (IF PROVEN), BUT GENERALLY INDICATES SUBSTANTIALLY LOWER POLYPHENOL LEVELS
- CONTAINS THE CLAIMED POLYPHENOL LEVELS, BUT ITS WILD ORIGIN REQUIRES VERIFICATION.

At the 2026 "Olympia Health & Nutrition Awards" (Olive Oil Olympic Games), organized by the Pharmacy Faculty, University of Athens, and the World Olive Center for Health.
Awarded for achieving a World Record in Polyphenols (3,443 mg/kg) and a World Record in Oleocanthal (2,241 mg/kg).
The award was presented by the Prefect of Olympia and Western Greece, Theodoros Vasilopoulos, and Professor Prokopios Magiatis at the International Olympic Academy in Ancient Olympia on June 6, 2026.
The award was received on behalf of our company by our Assistant Director, Theodoros Tsolakos.
