We’ve been busy getting ready for the party tomorrow Sunday 13th.

We have some great Thai food being prepared by our wonderful therapist chefs.

Tomorrow anyone attending a massage appointment will be automatically entered into our top prize of 5 x 1 hour VIP Privilege package as well as receiving a FREE gift on our special day.

At the Thai food tasting party ( 6pm to 8pm ) tomorrow we will also be giving away a FREE gift and chance to enter the VIP package giveaway.

We will also be running an online giveaway to win 5 x 1 hour vouchers too for those unable to attend, so look out for the post on FB and IG tomorrow during the day too.

Having opened in Gibraltar almost 5 years ago this week and celebrating our 5th anniversary this Sunday 13th, this year’s festivities are something very special for all the team at Orchid.

We want to say a HUGE thanks to all our beloved customers and visitors for supporting & choosing us as the best place to massage in Gib 🇬🇮

We are immensely proud to be a Gibraltar based business serving our amazing local GIB and UK community and international visitors to the rock.

Today we are closed as all our wonderful staff take a break and join in with the National Day festivities around town.

Tomorrow 11th September we open as normal from 10am.

This Sunday the 13th September we celebrate 5 years since we opened.

I can’t believe it’s been 5 years since we took this photo on our official opening day with the visiting Buddhist Monks from Thailand for the official blessing. Doesn’t time fly….

We have been absolutely humbled with the warmth, love and recognition we have received from our amazing local and international clients over the years since choosing Gibraltar to be our wonderful home. Thank you 🙏🏻

We are constantly told that Orchid is the No 1 place to massage in not only Gibraltar but in the surrounding southern Spain area. Our concept was to bring a bit of Thailand to you and we like to think that we have achieved that goal 5 years later.

So this Sunday the 13th September it’s time to continue to give back to all that have supported us over the years but this time with something a bit more special.

We will be hosting an Authentic Thai food event to mark the 5 years with many Traditional Thai dishes cooked by our incredibly talented staff to share with our clients from 6pm to 8pm this Sunday the 13th.

We also have some prizes and vouchers giveaway also which you can enter to win via our FB and IG pages on the 13th, including the chance to win a VIP privilege package of 5 x 1 hour treatments worth £325.

Yesterday we celebrated Songkran สงกรานต์ which marks the start of the Thai New Year.

The traditional water festival is celebrated in Thailand 🇹🇭 every year on the 13th April and continues on for around 3 days or longer depending which province you’re in.

This festival is the one that every Thai looks forward to and our staff were no exception either.

A chance to wear traditional Songkran shirts and give blessings to Bhudda anointing by water.

We are so happy to share our Thai culture with our beloved Gibraltar 🇬🇮 community and invite anyone who would like to give blessings for the year ahead to stop by the Spa over the next few days.

Tomorrow Sunday 5th April we will be closed for Easter Sunday.

Our heroic staff need some much needed rest and recuperation 💪

We will reopen on Easter Monday at 10am.

March 15th is fast approaching and we celebrate another Mothers Day.

This is probably our most favorite of special days of the year as we all celebrate the unique and vitally important role of mothers in our lives.

A chance to give more thanks and praise to your special mother ❤️

We have had many people coming to buy vouchers for their mums and it’s lovely to hear some stories and their desire to gift a massage treatment.

Gifting a massage voucher is giving your mother the chance to really relax and switch off from the hustle and bustle of daily life even if it’s just for 1 hour.

We will look after your mother and make her feel pampered during her treatment and give her an experience that she will never forget and certainly remember who gifted her this treat.

Today is the start of the Chinese New Year and this year is the year of the horse 🐎

If you were born in the years 1918, 1930, 1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014 or 2026, you are a horse 🐴

In traditional Chinese culture, the horse symbolizes strength, speed, courage, loyalty, freedom and talent. Those born under this zodiac sign are often said to be brave, steady, upright, faithful and independent.

The first day of the Chinese New Year falls on February 17 this year. Also known as the Spring Festival or Lunar New Year, the festival marking the advent of spring is widely celebrated in China and several East Asian countries including Thailand where we celebrate it every year too.

So we would like to wish all our clients and wider community of Gibraltar a very happy and prosperous new year.

We will be giving out oranges 🍊 to all our customers over the next few days as the oranges are a vital symbol of prosperity, wealth, and good fortune during Chinese New Year, representing gold due to their bright color and round shape and they are gifted to represent happiness and completeness. 🙏🏻

A huge thank you to all of our customers who visited us over the Valentines weekend as we extended the Mango sticky rice and Ch*****ne promotion into Sunday for the couples who couldn’t make it on Saturday 14th February. 🙏🏻

It was lovely to see our clients relaxing and enjoying the authentic Thai Mango with Ch*****ne and the feedback was amazing.

We have decided to continue this theme today with other Thai fruits such as Dragon fruit, Passion Fruit and the super sweet small yellow Thai Pineapple. All served with Ch*****ne. 🍾
