I attended a friend wedding last week Saturday. and after all my dancing, the food didn’t reach me 😥

Our conversation went like this:

Me: Good afternoon, madam.

Her: Good afternoon.

Me: Wow, I heard the food is finished.

Her: Yes, it’s all gone.

Me: That’s a shame. I liked the way you were serving, and my son's wedding is in October. I was planning to hire you, but since I didn’t get to taste the food, I might give the contract to someone else. I wanted to confirm your cooking skills.

Her: Oh no, ma'am it’s not like that. There’s some food kept aside in a cooler for the bride and groom’s guests. I can give you some so you can taste it and see how good I am.

Me: Alright, just pack it as a takeaway. I’ll let my husband join me taste it when I get home and see if he likes it. Also, give me your number, I’ll call you now so you can save mine.

She smiled and saved my number. When I got home, I opened the food to see what she had packed for me. It was wawoo! With chicken 🍗 two takeaway packs of food

I hadn’t even finished eating one when she called, reminding me not to forget her because October is around the corner.

Now, how do I tell her I was just joking? I need some advice. But honestly, the rice was really tasty with chicken, turkey, cow skin, cow leg and goat meat! 😜 sense no go kîll me......
