Spiritual leadership and partnership cannot be outsourced. You cannot eat on behalf of someone else and expect them to grow strong. In the same way, you cannot pray on behalf of a partner’s relationship with God.

A marriage is designed to be a team. Ecclesiastes 4:12 speaks of a “threefold cord” (you, your spouse, and God) that is not easily broken.
If you are the only one holding the line in prayer, the marriage is operating on half its strength. When life gets heavy, or when you are tired, sick, or spiritually weak, who is going to lay hands on you and pray? Who is going to stand in the gap for you?
You deserve a partner who can lift you up when you fall, not a passenger you have to carry.

When Proverbs 18:22 says finding a spouse means obtaining favor from the Lord, it’s talking about a deep, supernatural grace. The kind of favor that brings peace to your heart, breaks the chains of past heartbreak (just like He did for Ruth), and protects your home.

If you’ve been feeling anxious, take heart:
Psalm 84:11 reminds us that He will withhold no good thing from those who walk uprightly.
A godly, loving partnership is one of those “good things.”
You don’t have to chase, stress, or settle. God is a good Father, and His favor is fully capable of locating you in His perfect timing. Keep praying, keep resting, and trust His heart. 🤍

It is so easy to look at the world, listen to the stories around us, and let fear tell us that “good love” doesn’t exist anymore. ❤️

God did not design marriage to be a source of terror, confusion, or heartbreak. He designed it to be a place of safety, favor, and beautiful, divinely appointed companionship (Proverbs 18:22).

Please, don’t let a broken dating culture make you forget who holds your future:
His promises are still true.
His timing is still perfect.
And He still has His faithful, loving sons and daughters out there.

You don’t have to stress, rush, or force anything. Keep praying. Keep protecting your peace. Keep trusting the Author of your story. The God who knows your heart is fully capable of directing your steps to the one He has prepared for you.
