Thankfully we’ve not had any damage at the salon so plan on being open as normal today. If you have an appointment today please do not feel obliged to attend(non essential travel), travelling today will be tricky and I know some may be experiencing childcare issues with the schools being shut. If you would rather reschedule your appointment today please let me know and I will do so asap. I will accommodate where I can and no late cancellation fees will be taken. If you feel you can get here later today then I will be here! Please be safe and sensible.

As the clean-up operation continues this morning, many roads are blocked or barely passable due to debris.

If you absolutely have to travel, please plan for disruption and take extra care. If there is any way for you to avoid travel, by working from home for example if your job allows, please do so as it will help limit heavy traffic and importantly speed up the clean-up.

For States of Guernsey public-facing customer service counters, Edward T Wheadon House will open with a limited service from 10.30am. Frossard House will do so from midday.
