As most of you know, I am not very tech-savvy and I’m certainly no Canva expert! 😂
However, I just "created" this little image and I am hoping it will help you see why I am such a proud and happy Tropic Skincare Ambassador. 💚
The products are incredible, but it is the ethos behind this British brand that makes me so proud to be part of it.
What’s not to love about a female-founded, purpose-led skincare company that genuinely cares about people and our planet?
Would you like me to share a list of all the charities we work with?
Or is there anything else you would like me to explain?
Please ask! I am more than happy to share what I know and answer any questions. 💚

Happy New Week, everyone!
And what an exciting week it’s going to be for me!
I’ll be welcoming clients for reflexology, facial massages and midlife coaching, but I will also be helping customers find the skincare that’s best suited to their skin. 🥰
Our fully booked Rituals of Relaxation mini retreat is happening this week too, and Gemma from Sounds of Divinity Yorkshire and I are very excited about it!
Ohhh, and my gorgeous daughter is coming home for the weekend! ❤️ I feel like I haven’t seen her for months!
There is lots more to report, but am saving that for another post…
It’s going to be a great week!
Isn’t that a lovely sentence to write down? X

Whilst I am doing some prep work for our upcoming Rituals of Relaxation Mini Retreat next week, I have been writing down a few thoughts about self-care.
One thing I come across a lot with my clients is that they apologise for the way they feel.
Do. Not. Apologise. For. The. Way. You. Feel. EVER.
Generally speaking, apologies are important. They show accountability, self-awareness and maturity.
But your feelings? They are yours, and they are valid.
You might feel happy. Sad. Angry. Frustrated. Overwhelmed. Excited. Disappointed.
Nobody should tell you how you are supposed to feel or that you shouldn’t feel the way you do. I have had it many a times that I have been told I shouldn't be too sad, I should feel happy because of whatever etc etc and that made me feel even more sad/angry/frustrated as my feelings were not validated.
Whatever the feeling, acknowledging it rather than apologising for it is an important part of self-care.
Because when you acknowledge how you feel, you are listening to yourself.
You are showing yourself that you matter too.
And that is exactly why self-care will be such an important part of our Mini Retreat next week. I can't wait to talk to our group of participants about this and to hear what they have to say/what experiences they have had.
Does this resonate with you? Let me know please. x

Another interesting read about menopause and how under researched it is which also means that many of us are not quite sure what to expect.

This morning I went to a wonderful networking event with Ladies Who Latte, where I had the chance to talk to some amazing female business owners about what we do and how we can support each other.
One of the conversations I had really made me think…We talked about how social media almost always shows us how amazingly well everyone is doing, how happy we are in our businesses, and how nothing seems too difficult to achieve.
But the reality is often “slightly” different.
Obviously, I can only speak from my own experience and, given that authenticity has been (and still is) my word for 2026, I thought it was time to be honest…
At times, this has been a rough year so far.
• I have had lots of great ideas (at least I thought they were!) but not all of them have come to fruition.
• Parts of my businesses haven’t been as successful as I had hoped.
• Some of my workshops have had to be cancelled.
• And sometimes, it is not that easy to constantly motivate yourself.
That conversation this morning made me want to post about this; not for sympathy, and not because I want you to feel that you have to book in with me or place a Tropic order (although you would, of course, always be very welcome to do so!).
I just want you to know that the things I share on here are genuine. My feelings and emotions are heartfelt, and I will always try to stay true to myself.
Maybe it is also time to be a little more sociable on social media, rather than using it as a constant marketing platform.
Sooo, I would genuinely love to know what you think about this.
Do you feel the same? Do you find social media can sometimes make you feel like everyone else is doing brilliantly while you are the only one struggling?
I would love to hear your thoughts. X
