Something I think is SO important to educate my clients on topics like this, especially when you’re investing in beautiful hair extensions! (Which ain’t cheap)

Swimming pools can contain copper and other minerals that can cause blonde extensions to develop unwanted green tones. Chlorine, seawater and certain sun creams can also affect the colour and condition of your extensions.

These photos are from one of my lovely clients who experienced exactly this!

Luckily, she’d already had her extensions for a while and decided it was time to invest in a fresh set, giving us that gorgeous blonde result again!

From pool green to pristine blonde 🤍

Chlorine, copper and minerals in swimming pools can react with blonde extensions, leaving them with an unwanted green tinge. This is why it is super important to protect your hair when you’re on holiday!
In this case we knew we were due some new extensions so decided to scrap the green and get new!✨
