Your body is getting used to the filler. Filler is gradually broken down by enzymes in your body. Some people simply metabolise it faster.

Lips move constantly. Speaking, eating and facial expressions mean lip filler is in a highly mobile area, so it generally doesn’t last as long as filler in areas such as the cheeks.

Some of the apparent “loss” isn’t actually filler loss. As swelling disappears, the contrast can make the settled result seem like the filler has completely gone.
