And so its October and you realise how much your life has changed since last year...

It’s now 3 weeks since my surgery, and I’m so relieved and grateful to be able to say that the surgery went well and the cancer was successfully removed. Still feels a little odd and surrreal to be saying that..

A futher 9 months of treatment to go..and years of preventative treatment...although it’s bittersweet and there’s still a journey ahead, I’m trying to focus on the bigger picture and if this is what it takes to know that it will be gone for good, then it’s a small price to pay. 💪🏼✨

I honestly can’t thank my amazing clients enough for continuing to support me and the salon while I’m off. Your messages, understanding and loyalty mean more to me than you’ll ever know. 🤍

My incredible team...thank you for keeping everything going and for supporting me while I’m not there🫶🏼

My family and friends have also been amazing, looking after me, keeping me positive and reminding me that it’s okay to slow down… something I’m definitely learning to do! 😂🤍

For now, I’m taking each day as it comes, focusing on healing and getting stronger.

I’m so grateful for everyone who has checked in, sent messages, thought of me and supported me through this. It really does mean the world. ❤️

Here’s to the next chapter, getting through the treatment and most importantly, getting back to being me and doing what i love ❤️
