Celebrating 4 years of Emily 🤍
Four years ago Emily joined Urban Coiffeur and what a journey it has been
From day one she has shown an incredible work ethic and determination to keep learning and growing Over the last four years she’s become one of the fastest stylists in the salon all whilst maintaining the high standards and care our clients know and love
Her dedication and talent earned her a well deserved promotion to Senior Stylist something she should be incredibly proud of
But it’s not just the stylist she’s become She’s kind caring dependable and a huge part of our salon family She always goes above and beyond for her clients and her team and we’re so grateful to have her with us
Now she’s about to start the most exciting chapter of all becoming a mum 🍼🤍

30 years of black box dye…
She sat in Laura’s chair for her consultation.
Laura asked her one simple question…
“Have you ever thought about going lighter?”
She smiled and said,
“I’d love to… I just never thought it would ever be possible.”
After 30 years of black box dye, she believed she had no choice but to keep colouring it forever.
So we made a plan.
Not a quick fix.
A 12 month grey blending journey that gradually took her from years of black box dye to embracing her natural white hair.
Today…
She no longer needs bleach.
She comes in for a toner to keep her white bright and fresh.
The best part wasn’t even the colour.
She told us,
“It’s just so easy.”
No more roots appearing a week later.
No more root spray getting everywhere.
No more feeling tied to colouring her hair every few weeks.

One whole year of Brodie ✨

A beautiful new chapter 🤍
Emily is now 29 weeks pregnant, and we’re so excited to watch this next chapter unfold.
She’s still doing what she loves every day, although we’ve finally managed to slow her down a little! (If you know Emily, you’ll know that’s quite an achievement.)
She has just a few smaller appointments left before she starts maternity leave, so if you’d love to see her before she finishes, we’d recommend booking soon.
We can’t wait to celebrate this exciting journey with her🤍
Does anyone else feel that extra bit of pressure when it’s the boss in the chair? 😅 I know I shouldn’t… but it’s definitely a thing!
That said, this one turned out dreamy! ✨ I used the Urban Coiffeur signature lived-in technique, adding a few pops of depth to refresh her old colour. Then we ( shout out ) added a couple of tapes through the sides in shades Pearl & Oak and Iced Toffee which blend perfectly with our chosen tones, to get her looking brand spanking new! 🤍
Because let’s be honest… she probably won’t be back in the chair until after Christmas now! 🤣🎄
