Did anyone catch this last week?

I’ve grown up watching Trinny. On the telly, then on here.

Early in 2023 I applied for Trinny’s elevator pitch series. At the same time I sent in a hot pink hair towel, because:

1) I genuinely thought she might love it and

2) I wanted her to experience it before our call.

I remember sitting in my home office waiting for her to appear (over Zoom, a sign of the times), and couldn’t quite believe it when she did. With a Good Wash Day towel in her hand.

A few days later Trinny messaged to say she would like more hair towels. And she insisted on buying them*, even though I told her I would happily gift her some. I remember thinking wow, that speaks volumes!

When a BBC producer got in touch to ask if I’d ever considered Dragons’ Den, Trinny and I chatted a bit, such was my quandary. Her words of wisdom have stuck with me to this day.

We’ve met a few times over the years, and Good Wash Day towels were stocked in the Trinny London flagship store on the King’s Road for six months last year.

you’re a class act in how to support other female founders. I don’t know how often people tell you that, but I feel compelled to do so.

One way our hair wraps help reduce breakage is by not having a button or fastener, which can encourage over-twisting of wet, fragile hair. We also wanted them to be multipurpose, so we made them without.
