DAY 8 | Wales road trip 🚐🌊

Another day, another little adventure… although Wales definitely had other plans for us this morning! 😂

We started at St Catherine’s Island & Fort, but unfortunately the weather and high tide meant we couldn’t get across to explore it properly. One of those things you just have to accept when you’re travelling the coast — the sea makes the rules! 🌊

So we carried on to Laugharne Castle, taking in another beautiful little corner of Wales before heading to The Mumbles for lunch.

Then it was time to find our home for the night — and WOW… another incredible camping spot! 😍

Direct access to the bay, the sound of the sea and, just when we thought the day couldn’t get any prettier, another gorgeous pink Welsh sunset painted the sky. 🌅💗

Day 8 definitely gave us another one of those “this is why we’re doing this” moments.

Day 7 of our Wales road trip 🚐🏴

Leaving our beautiful night at Hillfort, it was time to pack up and head further south, chasing more of Wales’ incredible coastline.

Our next stops were the Green Bridge of Wales and the dramatic Elegug Stacks — two more places that made us stop, stare and think, how is this actually real?! 🌊

The coastline down here is something else… huge cliffs, wild seas and views that just keep getting better the further we travel.

Another day, another part of Wales ticked off our map… and still plenty more to come. ❤️

Day 5 of our Welsh road trip 💙🏴
Today we visited St Davids — the smallest city in the UK (yes, it really is classed as a city! 😍).
Such a beautiful little place, full of character, history and gorgeous views. We wandered around taking it all in, and it honestly felt more like a pretty little village than a city — which is exactly what makes St Davids so special.
Another beautiful stop on our journey around the Welsh coast… and Wales really is showing off! 🥰🏴
So many more places still to discover… 🚐✨

Survived night #5
Why is it whenever I book a cliff edge site its ALWAYS gale force and I think a million different scenarios of how im going to not blow off the edge 🙄

Day #5 on our Wales Road Trip took us to Devils Bridge, Aberearon, then St David's to the most spectacular cliff views at camp (pics to follow)

Day 4 of our Wales road trip ❤️
Today we headed to one of the places I’d really been looking forward to visiting — gorgeous Portmeirion, Wales’ very own little Italy 🇮🇹
After lunch at the castle, we spent the afternoon wandering around, taking in all the colourful little buildings, beautiful gardens and amazing views. It’s such a unique place and honestly even prettier in person.
Another day of exploring, plenty of laughs and making memories together… and I’m already wondering how we’re going to top this one tomorrow! 🥰🚐❤️
Day 4… and Wales is definitely not disappointing! 🏔️✨
