Sometimes a haircut is so much more than just a haircut…

Today we welcomed a lovely new client who found us through Instagram. She hadn’t had her hair cut in over a year and was ready for a complete restyle. Her inspiration? The iconic Dame Judi Dench!

Using a combination of cutting techniques, we transformed her thick hair into a gorgeous short, textured style full of movement, personality and a bold little micro fringe.

Short hair is a statement. It’s personality. It’s confidence. It’s owning who you are. ❤️

But the best part? She told us she felt like she’d found herself again.

A seasonal switch-up by Mia, taking her client from bright summer blonde to this gorgeous, rich copper.

Copper is all about warmth, depth and glow. Those golden, amber and coppery tones reflect the light beautifully, bringing warmth back into the complexion and making the hair look incredibly glossy and healthy.

And there’s something about copper at this time of year… 🍁
As we move into cosy knits, deeper colours and autumn tones, a warmer hair colour just feels right.

We love a blonde, but sometimes embracing warmth instead of fighting it creates the most beautiful result.

Our window has had its seasonal makeover and we’re officially embracing all things autumn.

We absolutely love changing our window with the seasons… and this might just be one of our favourites. 🍁

Does your curly hair look full and defined underneath, but flatter through the top and too wide around the bottom? You may be struggling with the dreaded “triangle shape”

This is something we see so often. When the top layers become too heavy, they can stretch the curl out, leaving less movement at the crown while all the fullness sits around the bottom.

By carefully lifting and reshaping the top layers, we removed some of that weight, encouraged her curls to bounce back up and softened the width through the ends.

The result? A beautifully balanced, rounded shape that works with her natural curls not against them.
