Over time, our lips naturally lose some of their volume, and the definition of the lip shape can gradually become less pronounced.
Strategically placed hyaluronic acid can help restore definition and support the natural shape of the lips, without changing their proportions or creating an overfilled appearance.
My client today did not want more volume, and that was not the goal.
I used just 0.5ml, carefully placed to enhance the shape and definition while keeping everything natural and in proportion. 🤍
It is also important to remember that freshly injected lips are swollen and may have some bruising. This usually settles over the following days.
The final result should not be judged immediately after treatment. The lips need time to settle, and the final result is best assessed at around 2 weeks.
The aim is a result that looks natural, balanced and completely at home on your face, not a result that announces you have had filler.
Lip filler can be injected by many practitioners. Correct lip augmentation requires much more than simply placing filler.
It requires understanding facial anatomy, assessing existing asymmetries and proportions, understanding the patient's individual needs, and knowing when less is more.
