One of the questions clients often ask is what it means when an aesthetics clinic is licensed by the local authority.
Contrary to popular belief, it doesn't mean I'm allowed to dish out a cheeky prosecco with your treatment! 🍾🤣sorry about that!
It means that Love You Aesthetics is licensed and regulated by the local authority to provide injectable and semi-permanent makeup treatments.
To achieve and maintain this licence, the clinic is assessed against standards relating to:
✅ Trained to regulated standards (not just 1 day cpd courses)
✅ Hygiene and infection prevention �✅ Treatment room standards �✅ Health and safety procedures �✅ Clinical waste disposal �✅ Record keeping and policies �✅ Practitioner competency and compliance
For me, licensing isn't just about meeting a legal requirement. It's about giving my clients confidence that when they walk through my door, they're choosing a clinic that takes safety, professionalism and standards seriously.
