I’m so excited to finally share that Hair by Aleks is moving to Hurrs at Dean Clough! 🤍

From 19th October, you’ll find me in this beautiful new space, ready to welcome you for all things colour and hair transformations.

A new space, a fresh chapter and lots of exciting things to come. ✨

The colour we finally got right 💜

We started with a very soft pastel purple, which obviously didn’t stay around for long 🤦‍♀️

Since then, we’ve tried different versions of purple, some more violet, some less, until I finally found the mix that gave us that deep, rich purple we had in mind.

And the red underneath just makes it even better ❤️

A huge thank you to my lovely client for always trusting me and letting me experiment with her colour 🥹💜

I honestly love that we can try something new every time and see where it takes us.

Sometimes I think we forget how much work happens after the last client leaves.

Being a hairdresser today can mean being a photographer, content creator, editor, social media manager and administrator too.
This isn't me complaining 😊
I enjoy creating content and I know how valuable social media can be for a small business.

But it is work.

🏫 Back to school also means it's time to talk about something every parent should know about… head lice! 👀
Head lice are extremely common among school-aged children and have absolutely nothing to do with poor hygiene or dirty hair.
The best thing you can do is check your child's hair regularly, especially around the ears and at the nape of the neck.
Early detection can make the whole process much easier!
