Full face assessment and profile balancing.

Treatment was planned following assessment of facial proportions, projection, symmetry and overall structural balance — rather than treating individual features in isolation.

The aim: optimise proportion, restore balance and maintain natural facial identity.

Subtle, considered treatment. No single feature should be the focus — the face should simply look more harmonious.

Side profile balancing isn’t about treating one feature—it’s about improving facial harmony.
3 ml of filler was strategically placed in the cheeks, chin, jaw and nasal tip to create better facial proportions while respecting the patient’s natural anatomy.

Assessment includes principles such as Ricketts’ line, evaluating the relationship between the nose, lips and chin to achieve a balanced profile.

Small tweaks. Big difference.
Natural, balanced results.

Small changes are often the best changes.

Profile balancing isn’t about adding more—it’s about adding the right amount, in the right place.

Strategic, subtle enhancements can create harmony across the face without anyone knowing exactly what’s changed.

Small amounts speak volumes.

Profile balancing is the assessment and treatment of facial proportions as a whole, rather than focusing on a single feature in isolation.

This patient underwent the first stage of treatment, with subtle structural support designed to improve facial harmony and restore balance through the mid and lower face.

The aim is not to change the face, but to optimise proportions, improve support, and create a refreshed appearance while maintaining natural movement and individuality.

Small adjustments can often create a significant improvement when the correct anatomical structures are addressed.

One of the most common concerns…
and one of the hardest to treat properly.

The under-eye is rarely one single issue —
it’s structure, skin quality, and movement.

You may need structural balance to other parts of your face , before this area can be corrected.

• Anti-wrinkle can relax crow’s feet and subtly soften the area
• Filler (in the right patient) can restore support and reduce hollowing
• Polynucleotides work at a cellular level to improve skin quality, hydration, and repair
• Sunekos stimulates collagen & elastin production — improving texture, fine lines, and overall skin integrity at a more cellular level.

This is why assessment matters.
Not every under-eye needs filler.

Assessment and experience is key

Profile balancing isn’t about chasing one area — it’s about understanding the whole face.

This patient presented for tear trough treatment, however assessment showed the issue wasn’t isolated to the under-eye.
Loss of support through the mid-cheek was contributing to the appearance.

By restoring structure in the mid-face, we improve the transition into the tear trough — often reducing the need to treat it directly.

This is where experience matters.
Not treating what’s asked for — but treating what’s needed.

Botulinum toxin works by relaxing the muscles that cause lines and wrinkles. Results build gradually, with full effect around 14 days, revealing smoother, refreshed skin while muscle activity is reduced. Over time, movement naturally returns as the treatment wears off — for some around 3 months, for others closer to 5. Everyone responds differently. For best results, and to help prevent resistance, we wait until it has fully worn off before re-treating.

Subtle. Controlled. Evidence-based.

The problem is rarely the line.
It is the structure around it.

Lines form where support has changed.
Where volume has shifted.
Where balance is no longer what it once was.

Chasing the line rarely creates a natural result.
Restoring structure does.

Treat the face. Not the feature.
