Rachael has recently completed her NCFE CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Understanding Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace.

Working in the salon means spending a lot of time with people, chatting and getting to know our clients, so she felt this was a really useful addition to her professional development.

At Salon Vanilla, we know that everyone is different, which is why we also offer silent appointments for clients who prefer a quieter, more relaxed experience.

A useful qualification to add alongside her experience in nails, beauty and salon management. 🤍

A little more than just beauty 🤍 I’m really proud to share that I’ve recently completed a qualification in Understanding Mental Health First Aid and Mental Health Advocacy in the Workplace. Working in the beauty industry, I’ve always felt that what we do, can be about more than just the treatment. Our appointments can be a chance to switch off, have a chat, feel listened to and take a little time for yourself. This qualification has given me a greater understanding of mental health and how I can listen without judgement, offer appropriate support and signpost towards further help when needed. I’m really pleased to have added this to my professional development and to continue developing myself alongside my work in nails, beauty and salon management.
