ππ Investing in Safe Medication Practice ππ
Last week, managers from across our services attended one of several planned Managers Medication Administration training sessions, with further sessions scheduled over the coming months.
Our managers spent the day enhancing their knowledge of medication administration, exploring current legislation, guidance, best practice, and the vital role they play in supporting safe medication management across our services.
These sessions, delivered annualy, are designed to give managers the confidence and expertise to effectively support frontline staff, promote safe practice, and ensure customers receive the highest standard of care possible.
Continuous learning is key to maintaining quality services, and it's fantastic to see our managers engaging in opportunities that strengthen both leadership and clinical knowledge.
π Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the discussions and shared learning π

π Health Observation training π
In recent weeks, our team has completed their annual Health Observation Training, strengthening the skills and knowledge needed to respond confidently to Telecare activations and emergency situations.
Following this training, our Mobile Responders can attend customers after a Lifeline activation, carry out comprehensive health observations, and identify any immediate concerns that may require intervention.
By providing timely assessments and appropriate support, the team helps customers remain safe, well, and independent in their own homes. This proactive and preventative approach enables early identification of health concerns, reducing the risk of deterioration, avoiding unnecessary hospital admissions, and helping to ease demand on emergency and urgent care services.
Through rapid response and professional assessment, we are committed to delivering the right support at the right time, ensuring customers receive the care they need while remaining at home ππ‘
