🍂 October is here, and we’re heading into one of my favourite times of the year!
We’ve got some lovely events lined up this month, including two new locations for us. We’ll be at South Planks Farm Artisan Market and Chorlton Green Artisan Market, so if you’ve not seen us at either before, come and say hello!
We’ve also got some great value gift sets available for those organised customers who are already thinking about Christmas presents. 🎁
I’ve added a few autumnal colours to our stall for October too, which I’m loving. 🍁
Here’s where you can find us this month. Hope to see some of you along the way!
So many small businesses face this challenge. We’re not big enough - yet - to negotiate deals with courier services. This means we have to use the best rates available to us, and for us that was mainly Evri, via our local post office.
We’ve now had five orders go missing. Not only is that totally unacceptable service for our brand, but each parcel has the best quality products, that are not cheap to produce.
For a small business like us, losing money on orders that we have to replace is not sustainable. Evri have promised each time to send us a claim form, which has never materialised no matter how many emails we have sent chasing it. That’s right - we were ghosted by this big corporate business who took our money for a service they did not deliver, then failed to compensate us for that loss.
Lesson learned. We are now using Royal Mail for all deliveries but we’ve had no choice but to increase our price with their costs. We hope you can understand that this is a choice we have made to improve our service to you - our wonderful customers!

Sorry we’ve been a little quiet. We had to miss Colne Market last Saturday, and didn’t do our usual post at Wigan Market on Sunday.
On Saturday morning, we had to say goodbye to the Queen of our Scentric Pug Team. Our beloved Snoop is now out of pain and resting easy. We love you dearly gorgeous girl, be free, we will miss you and all your antics 🤍
