Well… this isn’t quite the opening I had pictured! 😅
After months of planning, moving, painting, building and trying to make everything just so, I had a very unexpected reason to press pause this week — being at the hospital with Lloyd after his accident. ❤️
So, if I’m being completely honest… the new salon is not quite finished how I had imagined it would be for opening day! 🙈
But you know what? We’re opening anyway. 🥹❤️
Tomorrow marks the beginning of a brand new chapter for Beauty by Helen, and I’m SO excited to finally welcome you through the new doors.
There are still a few finishing touches to do, boxes to disappear and pretty things to be added… but the treatments are ready, the doors are open and most importantly, I’m ready to see all of your lovely faces again. 🥰
The old salon is officially being left behind, and although it’s been an emotional and slightly chaotic few days, I’m incredibly proud of how far we’ve come.
And I really, really need to say thank you to everyone who has helped us get to this point. ❤️
There have been so many people behind the scenes helping with moving, painting, building, cleaning, lifting, organising and generally keeping me going when I’ve been ready to throw the towel in! 😂
But a special thank you to Isobel. 🥹❤️
She has worked SO hard behind the scenes and has been absolutely amazing throughout this whole move. I genuinely couldn’t have got as far as I have without her.
And thank you to everyone else who has given up their time, lent a hand, moved furniture, cleaned, painted, supplied things, checked in on me or simply listened to me panic! 😂❤️
You know who you are, and I’m incredibly grateful.
So please bear with us while we get everything looking exactly how I’ve had it in my head for months! 😂
Tomorrow is Day One.
Not perfect.
Not finished.
But ours. 🤍
And I honestly can’t wait to show you what we’re going to create here.
New salon. Same Helen. Same team. Same treatments you love. Just a brand new chapter. ✨

You may have seen the recent news about changes to some gel nail products.
Rest assured, there’s no need to worry. 🤍
At Beauty by Helen we use professional TPO-free gel systems, including Andreia Professional Gel and CND Shellac, so there are no changes to your appointments.

These are the first Shellac colours we had in ages and are bring them out on the 10th of August and although they are new colours for Shellac they are old incredibly popular CND nail polish colours from the past🫶🏼

I saw a post about this local business savoury_sandwiches the other day and thought we’d give them a try for today’s ‘Friday lunch’ best lunch of the week🥪

Both were absolutely delicious, packed with filling, super fresh and made with quality ingredients. The staff were lovely too, which always makes such a difference.
Safe to say this has earned a permanent place on our Treat Friday list! 👏
