Your treatment doesn’t end when you leave clinic.
Good aftercare is an important part of your treatment helping your face recover, supporting your results and most importantly, keeping my you safe.
Your skin and tissues need time to settle and heal.
A little redness, swelling and tenderness or bruising can be completely normal, but it’s just as important to know when something doesn’t feel right and when to contact your practitioner.
Save this post for your next treatment so you have your aftercare reminders to hand.
And remember - your aftercare should always be specific to you and the treatment you received.
If you have questions regarding you aftercare feel free to comment or drop a DM 💌
Let’s be real—we all show up differently at 5am. I look like a feral, half-dead animal, but on Instagram, we put our best selves out into the world 😂
P.S. This training programme is by Naomi. I’ve trained for years but never quite managed to build real muscle—until now!
As we move into flu season, please be aware that your treatment may occasionally need to be delayed.
If you’re starting new medication—particularly antibiotics—or feel unwell, have a viral or gastrointestinal infection, have recently had dental work or vaccinations, please let us know as soon as possible.
Introducing a foreign object into the body can trigger an inflammatory response, so we want to avoid placing additional stress on your immune system while it is already responding to illness or healing.
If any of these situations apply before your appointment, please contact us at the earliest opportunity so we can advise you appropriately.
One of the things I love about working in a salon alongside experienced therapists is that I don’t have to be a jack of all trades.
As a nurse injector, I specialise in aesthetic treatments, while our therapists focus on their own areas of expertise. We work closely together and cross-refer when needed, ensuring every client receives the **right treatment from the right professional**.
No one can be a specialist in everything, which is why teamwork is so important in delivering safe, personalised care.
There’s also the added benefit of privacy. When you visit a salon, no one knows whether you’re coming in for injectables, waxing, a massage or your nails. For many patients, this offers reassurance and discretion—because nobody needs to know why you’re here.
October is the perfect time to start your microneedling journey 🍂
Your skin naturally renews itself over approximately 28 days which is why treatments are usually spaced out to allow the skin time to recover and regenerate.
For visible, longer-lasting results, a course of between three to eight sessions is commonly recommended. Starting in October gives your skin time to progress through each treatment while the weather is cooler and sun exposure is generally lower—helping reduce the risk of post-treatment sensitivity and sun-related damage.
Microneedling can help improve the appearance of:
✨ Fine lines
✨ Uneven texture
✨ Enlarged pores
✨ Acne scarring
✨ Dull-looking skin

The one thing people often forget is the skin.
Many of my clients come to me for injectable treatments to relax muscles or restore lost volume—but healthy, glowing skin is what truly enhances the result.
Your skin is your body’s largest organ. It protects you from the elements, yet it also needs consistent care, hydration and nourishment.
After years of ageing and environmental exposure, improving skin quality takes time. It isn’t a quick fix—but investing in your skin will help you achieve a natural, healthy glow that reflects how you should feel.

My heart feels so full watching this kid live her best life. Imagine going on holiday with all your closest friends—competing, cheering each other on and exploring the parks until late 😂
We feel so blessed to be in a position to support Moo as she follows her dreams and makes the most incredible friends along the way.
Creating these special memories really makes us feel like we’re winning at life.
Microneedling is an effective treatment for various skin concerns, including melasma, aging, and scarring. The number of sessions required can vary based on individual needs and the specific indication being treated. Here’s a breakdown:
1. Melasma: Typically, 4 to 6 sessions are recommended, spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart. This approach helps to gradually reduce pigmentation and improve overall skin tone.
2. Aging: For general anti-aging benefits, 4 to 6 sessions are usually advised. Treatments are often spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart to allow the skin to heal and regenerate collagen effectively.
3. Scarring: When addressing scars, particularly acne scars, 6 to 8 sessions may be necessary. These sessions should also be spaced 4 to 8 weeks apart to optimise results and promote healing.
Maintenance treatments may be recommended annually to sustain results. Always consult with a qualified professional to determine the best plan for your specific skin concerns and goals. For further information or to schedule a consultation, please DM or click link in bio for free consultation.

Why Microneedling Should Be Part of Your Skincare Routine
Microneedling is a transformative treatment that offers numerous benefits for your skin. Here’s why it deserves a place in your regimen:
1. Stimulates Collagen Production*: This procedure encourages your skin to produce collagen naturally, promoting a firmer and more youthful appearance.
2. Enhances Skin Texture: Microneedling smooths rough patches, resulting in a refined and radiant complexion suitable for all skin types.
3. Improves Product Absorption: Following microneedling, your skin can absorb serums and treatments more effectively, maximizing their efficacy.
4. Reduces Scars and Pores: It is particularly effective in minimizing the appearance of acne scars and enlarged pores, leading to a more flawless look.
5. Minimal Downtime: With proper aftercare, recovery is quick and straightforward, allowing you to resume your daily activities with ease.
Consider incorporating microneedling into your skincare routine for a significant enhancement in your skin’s health and appearance. For more information, feel free to reach out.
