All our lasers are Class IV lasers and our nurses and aestheticians have all undertaken mandatory ‘Core of Knowledge’ training. The training ensures that the practitioner understands and is competent in the following:

Core of Knowledge Training:

Features of light from laser and IPL equipment Hazards from equipment and laser/IPL beams
Working safely in the laser/IPL Controlled Area
Safety procedures, policies and safety management
Care Quality Commission registration requirements
The Laser Clinic has been open since January 2008 and offers a wide range of laser and aesthetic treatments. Realistic prices with options to suit all budgets. An initial consultation and patch test means that you know how effective the laser treatment will be, how your skin will react, and how many sessions you are likely to need. You are under no obligation at all to continue after the initial consultation. And if you’re not suitable, we won’t charge you for the initial consultation. After-care
You will be given aftercare advice (verbal and written) both before and after your laser treatment, so you know what to expect and how to limit any discomfort. You can also ring one of our friendly staff on 01793 686486 at any time with your questions. Although laser treatment is suitable for most people, not everyone is a good candidate. If we feel a different method would be better for you, we’ll suggest it, and can quite often offer possible alternatives. We would never pressure you to undergo any treatment – it is entirely up to you. There is FREE parking on Wootton Bassett high street. For directions please see Location

☀️ Summer may be over, but your skin still needs a little extra care.

After months of sunshine, heat and increased UV exposure, your skin may be feeling a little different. Think dehydration, uneven skin tone, pigmentation and changes in texture.

🍂 As we transition into autumn, it’s the perfect time to reassess your skincare routine and give your skin the attention it deserves.

From restoring hydration to addressing pigmentation and supporting your skin barrier, the right approach starts with understanding what your skin needs.

✨ Ready to reset your skin for the season ahead?

As we move from summer into autumn, our skin can begin to show the effects of the months gone by.

UV exposure, heat and environmental stress can all influence the way our skin looks and behaves — while the natural production of collagen gradually changes with age.

Supporting your skin isn’t about chasing perfection, or adding more and more to your routine. It’s about understanding what your skin needs at each stage and giving it the right environment to function well.

At home, that means protecting your skin from UV exposure, maintaining a balanced lifestyle and keeping your skincare routine intentional rather than excessive.

In clinic, collagen-stimulating treatments can complement this by encouraging the skin’s own regenerative processes, helping to support texture, firmness and overall skin quality over time.

The aim isn’t to change your skin. It’s to support it.

For more on what your skin may — and may not — need after summer, stay tuned for this month’s blog: ‘What your skin does and doesn’t need after summer.’ Read via the link in our bio.

Xanthelasma are soft, yellowish deposits that can appear around the eyelids. While harmless, they can be a concern aesthetically — particularly when they become more noticeable over time.

We offer Advanced Electrolysis, a precise, targeted treatment for xanthelasma, helping improve the appearance of the affected area.

If you’re considering treatment, our consultations are a relaxed opportunity to discuss your concerns, explore your options and find out whether treatment is suitable for you.

As always, our consultations are free of charge and without obligation.

Suitability for treatment will be assessed during your consultation. Individual results may vary.

Skin tags are small, soft growths that commonly develop in areas where the skin rubs together—such as the neck, underarms, eyelids or under the breasts.

They’re incredibly common and completely benign, although they can become irritated, catch on clothing or jewellery, or simply be something you’d rather not have.

The good news? They can often be removed quickly and effectively using advanced electrolysis.

Treatment is straightforward, and we’ll talk you through exactly what to expect during your consultation, including aftercare and healing.

If you’ve been wondering whether a skin tag can be removed, feel free to get in touch—we’re always happy to answer your questions.

Have you ever caught sight of something new while looking in the mirror and wondered whether it’s normal?

Our skin naturally changes over time, and many lumps, bumps and marks that appear are completely benign. That said, it’s always worth paying attention to anything that’s new, changing or causing concern.

Knowing what to look out for—and when to get it checked—can help you feel more confident about your skin health.

This month’s blog explores benign skin changes, the importance of skin awareness, and when it’s worth seeking professional advice.

It’s something we hear more often than you might expect.

Not because the treatment takes a long time—it usually doesn’t. It’s because so many people spend months (or even years) wondering, researching and putting it off before finally booking that first consultation.

If you’ve been thinking about treatment but aren’t sure where to start, that’s completely normal.

We’re not going anywhere, and there’s no rush. Whether you’re ready now or simply want to understand your options, we’re here to answer your questions with honest advice and no obligation.

Sometimes the hardest part is taking that first step. The treatment itself is often the easiest bit.

There’s a common misconception that aesthetic treatments come from a place of insecurity. But in our experience, this is rarely true.

You can feel confident in who you are and choose to make a change. Equally, you can decide treatment isn’t for you at all. Both are valid.

At our clinic, there’s never any pressure to go ahead with treatment. That’s exactly why we offer free, no-obligation consultations – a chance to ask questions, explore your options and decide what’s right for you, in your own time.

Because aesthetics should always be about choice, not pressure.

Why do we put treatment off?

“I’ve had it for years.”
“It’s only cosmetic.”
“I’ll sort it another time.”

We hear this so often.

The truth is, many benign skin blemishes are harmless—but that doesn’t mean you have to just live with them if they’re bothering you.

Whether it’s catching on clothing, affecting your confidence, or you’re simply tired of seeing it every day, it’s okay to decide that enough is enough.

There’s never any pressure to have treatment, but if you’d like to know your options, we’re always happy to offer honest, impartial advice and help you make the decision that’s right for you.

✨ Sometimes, the first step is just having the conversation. To book a consultation, visit the link in our bio ✨

Sometimes it’s not the big things. It’s the little things we quietly adapt around.

The skin tag that catches on your necklace.
The one you avoid in photos.
The one you’ve been meaning to ask about for years.

Most skin tags are completely harmless and don’t need treatment. But if it’s bothering you, catching, irritating, or simply making you feel less comfortable in your own skin, that’s reason enough to explore your options.

You don’t need to justify wanting a change, and you don’t have to dislike yourself to choose treatment either.

Our latest blog, The Little Things We Stop Noticing, explores why we often live with these small frustrations for so long—and why it’s okay to decide you’re ready to do something about them.

Q. Should I postpone my aesthetic treatment because of the heatwave?
A. Possibly. Possibly not…
Aesthetic treatments don’t stop for summer—but treatment planning is key.

Periods of prolonged heat can affect your skin’s barrier, increase UV exposure and influence the healing process following some treatments.

Rather than applying the same approach all year round, we adapt our recommendations to your skin, your lifestyle and the conditions at the time of treatment. Because the right treatment, at the right time, with the right aftercare, will always deliver better results than following a fixed plan.

If you’re unsure whether the recent hot weather may affect your appointment, we’d much rather you ask than worry. We’re here to help. Reach out in the comments, DM or follow the link in our bio ☀️
