🎃💅 Spooky season nails, anyone? 👻

Halloween is creeping up on us, so I’ve been looking back at some of the Halloween nails I’ve created before… and I’d forgotten how much fun some of these were! 😂🕷️

Ghosts, pumpkins, spiders, cobwebs, black cats, bats… we can keep things fairly subtle or have a bit more fun with them. 🎃

I also have Halloween nail stickers available, so not everything has to be painstakingly hand-painted — although I’m always happy to have a play and see what we can create. 💜

And because we’re still early in October, now is the time to start thinking about them rather than messaging me on the 30th asking if I can squeeze you in tomorrow. 😂🙈

🍂 Anyone else feeling a little more stuffy now the seasons are changing? 👃👂

As the cooler weather creeps in, so can that familiar blocked, heavy, stuffy feeling around the head and face — which makes this a lovely time to talk about one of my quieter treatments… Hopi Ear Candling. 💜

And before you picture me putting an actual candle in your ear… 😂 it’s not that kind of candle!

A Hopi ear candle is actually a hollow, cone-shaped tube, traditionally made from fabric coated in wax. It sits gently at the entrance of the ear while the other end is lit, and you simply lie back and relax while I look after everything.

But my treatment doesn't stop there. 🥰

I also include a gentle facial lymphatic drainage massage, working around the face to encourage natural lymphatic flow. It can feel particularly lovely when your face and head are feeling heavy or stuffy — as well as being incredibly relaxing.

So really, it's 40 minutes of lying down, switching off and letting me do the work. 💜

And yes… it’s also one of the rare treatments where I get to sit down too. 😂🙌

I've noticed a few new faces popping up on my page recently, so I thought it was probably time I said a proper hello and introduced myself! 👋🥰
I'm Natasha, the face behind Pampered Turtle Spa, and I work from my quiet, private home salon in Lower Stratton, Swindon SN3.
I've been a massage therapist for over 20 years and working in beauty for over 10 years, and these days I absolutely love being able to offer treatments in a more relaxed, one-to-one environment.
There's no busy salon or waiting area here — when you come for your appointment, that time is yours. 💜
