✨ Anti-Wrinkle Treatments – Why Less Is Sometimes More ✨

This lovely client was having her very first anti-wrinkle treatment, so we decided together that a conservative, carefully considered approach would be the best starting point.
Every face is unique, and everyone responds differently to anti-wrinkle injections. For first-time clients, I believe it’s especially important to understand how their muscles respond before deciding whether additional product is needed.

Why start conservatively?
Botulinum toxin cannot simply be removed or reversed once injected. By starting with a carefully selected dose, we can aim for a softer, more refreshed appearance while reducing the risk of an overly frozen or unnatural result.

✨ The importance of a 14-day review
I invited my client back for a review after 14 days, allowing sufficient time for the initial treatment to take effect.
At her review, we assessed her muscle movement, symmetry and overall results. Where additional relaxation was needed, a small amount of further product was administered to refine her outcome. This gradual approach allows us to tailor treatment to the individual rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach.

WHY POLYNUCLEOTIDES FOR THIS GORGEOUS CLIENT ✨

For this treatment, my focus wasn’t on adding volume or changing the client’s features. The goal was to improve the quality of the delicate skin around the eyes and create a fresher, more rejuvenated appearance.

After assessing the area, I chose a high-concentration polynucleotide formulation to support skin regeneration, hydration and overall skin quality.

Firstly, carefully cleansing and preparing the skin before applying numbing cream to make the treatment as comfortable as possible. Once the area was ready, the product was administered through a series of small, precisely placed injections across the under-eye area, allowing me to treat the skin in a controlled and considered way.

Immediately afterwards, small raised areas or injection marks can be visible — this is expected following treatment and typically settles as the product disperses.

Treatments like this are about restoration rather than transformation.
