My client came in asking for jaw filler… but that’s not what I recommended 👀
And this is exactly why I love a good consultation!! This lovely client knew how she wanted her side profile to look, but wasn’t quite sure which treatments would get her there.
She’d previously had non-surgical rhinoplasty with me, so we only needed a tiny top-up to maintain the shape we’d already created. But the biggest part of achieving the balance she wanted, meant looking at her chin, not just her nose.
By carefully adding a little projection and definition around the chin, we were able to create a more balanced side profile. And what’s really interesting is that improving chin projection can actually make the nose appear smaller, without changing its size!
Sometimes it’s not about treating the feature you’re most conscious of. It’s about looking at how everything works together.
And that’s why I won’t just give you a treatment because you’ve asked for it. I want to understand the result you’re hoping for first. And I thought running my own clinic would mean having more free time. HAHAHA!
Four years ago, I started TLC with my little travel case, working full-time in the NHS and absolutely no idea just how much this business would become part of my life.
I knew I loved aesthetics. What I didn’t realise was how much I’d love learning, pushing myself and finding new ways to give my clients the best possible care (and apparently, I also love giving myself another 500 jobs to do😂).
There are days when I’m absolutely shattered, my brain won’t switch off and I’m wondering why I decided I needed to add ANOTHER thing to my to-do list. But then I’ll have a client sit in my chair, tell me something they’ve been struggling with, and leave feeling that little bit more confident. And I remember exactly why I started🥹
I’m so proud of what TLC has become, and even though I’m four years in, I still feel like I’m only just getting started.
To everyone who’s trusted me with their face, their skin and sometimes a little bit of their life story too… thank you. You probably don’t realise how much it means to me. 🤍
Now, if someone could teach me how to switch my brain off after 6pm, that would be lovely😂
It’s funny how something so small can bother you for YEARS.
Maybe you catch it every time you get dressed, you avoid certain necklines, you automatically cover it in photos. Or you’ve just looked at it approximately 4,000 times and thought “I really need to sort that.”
For suitable benign skin lesions, CryoPen uses a precise jet of nitrous oxide to freeze and destroy the targeted tissue, with treatment focused directly on the lesion.
But before I remove anything, I assess it first. Not every lesion is appropriate for CryoPen, and skin health will always come before the cosmetic side of things.
So if you have one of those little things that’s been annoying you for far longer than you’d like to admit…

Sometimes more filler is actually the last thing your lips need🙈👄
This client came to me thinking there wasn’t really anything that could be done with her lips anymore. She’d had filler over a number of years and had been left with migration, unevenness and those little lumps and bumps that she could see and feel.
We could have tried to disguise it by adding more… but that wasn’t going to give her the soft, natural lips she actually wanted.
So we dissolved, let everything settle, and then started again properly.
I think people can be really nervous about dissolving because it feels like you’re going backwards, especially when you’ve spent years building your lips. But sometimes taking that step back gives us a much better foundation to work from.
And look at them now 🥹
If you’re unhappy with old filler and think your only option is to keep adding more, come and see me first. Sometimes the best plan is a reset 🤍

I’ve completely changed the way I want to look after your skin at TLC…
The more I’ve invested in skin, the more I’ve realised I don’t want you bouncing between treatments and hoping something works.
I want to know where we’re starting. I want to be able to look back in 3 months and actually see what’s changed. I want to know when we need to do more, and equally, when we don’t. And I definitely don’t think looking after your skin should mean spending hundreds every month or having treatment after treatment!!
So I’ve rebuilt my memberships around that…
You might spend £55 a month. You might spend £149. You might eventually move between the memberships as your skin and priorities change.
The amount you spend isn’t the goal. Your skin going somewhere is🤍
This is probably the most excited I’ve been about the skin side of TLC because everything I’ve brought into clinic recently - the scanner, Lightwave Pro, regenerative treatments - finally works together in a way that makes sense.

What a day at The Skin Edit 3.0. A huge thank you to Rebecca and Hannah for putting together another incredible event and bringing so many amazing women and businesses under one roof.
I got to spend Sunday talking about something I could quite literally talk about forever… skin health 😂 From my talk, to chatting with so many of you at the TLC stand and assessing skin lesions throughout the day - I absolutely loved it!!
We also had our lesion game, TLC scratch cards with discounts on lesion removals up for grabs… AND, of course, the golden ticket hidden somewhere in Ramside for one lucky person to win a free lesion removal in clinic 👀✨
