🐝 BEEKEEPER SPOTLIGHT – BAYVIEW BEES 🐝

We first met Dani & David from Bayview Bees at The Beekeeping Show in Telford back in February 2024 – and what a pleasure it has been working with them ever since!

Starting with their fabulous Bayview Bees branding, we worked together to create this gorgeous, colourful range of labels, and we now supply them with our Lip Balms, Honey Soaps, Beeswax Melts, Hand & Body Creams and Pet Paw Lotions, all beautifully branded as Bayview Bees. 💛

And this week… two VERY big boxes of products are making their way north to Scarborough! 📦📦🐝

One of my favourite things about Busy Bees Cosmetics is seeing another beekeeper’s branding come to life across our products — and I think Bayview Bees’ range certainly stands out! 🌈

🐝 New labels heading north! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

We absolutely loved bringing these gorgeous new labels to life for Natalie at Mil Scotland Apiaries 💕

Mil Scotland Apiaries is a second-generation, female-run small-scale apiary, producing pure Scottish honey in beautiful Highland Perthshire. 🍯🐝

Starting with Natalie’s beautiful logo, we worked together to create her new labels across her range of hand & body creams and lip balms — and we think they look rather lovely! 😍

Once everything was printed, labelled and packed, we had a little bit of a PHEW! moment… 😂

We managed to get Natalie’s order finished and into the post with 24-hour tracked delivery to Scotland last Friday, ready for her event on Saturday.

And it made it! 🙌🐝

Another happy beekeeper, another beautiful range of own-label cosmetics, and another little parcel of Busy Bees heading off around the UK. 💛

🐝 It’s only Tuesday… and what a busy week it’s already been! 🐝

This week we’ve had lots of new beekeeping customers we’ve met through Kevin’s Bee Talks around the country coming back to order our Beeswax Cosmetic Starter Packs — which is always lovely to see. 🥰

Alongside these, we’ve been restocking our regular white-label beekeepers, while also sending out lots of our own Busy Bees labelled products too.

We’ve collected some lovely new labels this week from Spingold Design & Print and we can’t wait to see them come to life on the products over the next few days. There’s something rather satisfying about seeing a finished product with a beekeeper’s own branding on it! 🐝✨

It’s been a busy one, and a huge thank you as always to Roxie, who has been putting in some extra hours after a day of making, to help us get everything labelled, packed and out of the door as quickly as possible.

And perhaps the loveliest part has been the people we’ve been working with and chatting to. We really have met such a lovely group of beekeepers through Kevin’s talks and recommendations, and it’s a pleasure to keep those conversations going and help bring their ideas to life.

Right… back to the packing! 🐝📦💛

🏡 Back home and straight back into it! 🐝

We’re back home after a lovely week in Hebden Bridge, catching up with friends and family — and, most importantly, having some proper time together. ❤️

There were lots of lovely canal walks, train trips, craft b**r 🍺 and a very big car-list of jobs to get through! Kevin did most of the driving while I kept everything progressing from the passenger seat — replying to our beekeepers, keeping in touch with our graphic designer and printer, and checking in with Roxie.

Meanwhile, Roxie was working away behind the scenes, preparing orders and even putting in an extra day to help replenish our stocks. We came home to a dining room looking like this! 😂📦🐝

I’ve spent much of the weekend getting stuck into packaging orders, with some ready for the postman to collect tomorrow — and I’ll be carrying on with the rest tomorrow too!

A huge thank you to Roxie for being so diligent and conscientious while we had our little break. It made it much easier for us to properly switch off knowing everything was being looked after. ❤️

And now… full steam ahead! 🚂🐝

The Honey Show in October is fast approaching, followed by the Christmas rush — and there are just 13 weekends left until Christmas! 🎄😳

Time to get those beeswax cosmetics moving! 🐝✨

🐝 New deodorants — behind the scenes! 🌿

Last week we finally started production of our new deodorants! 🎉

As is often the case with something new, the first few attempts didn’t quite go to plan… but after making a few changes, we got there! 🙌

It was a busy week with Roxie back to work after the school holidays, lots of orders to get ready and plenty of planning and organising before Kevin and I headed off for our last little break of the year — ready to come back and go full steam ahead towards Christmas! 🎄

Our Graphic Designer and Printer have certainly been kept busy too! There has been lots of artwork to approve, including some of it being approved in the car while Kevin drove us to a Bee Talk on Saturday! 😂🐝

We’re really looking forward to seeing our new beekeeping customers’ labels come to life when we return and I collect everything from the printer.

While we’re away, Roxie will be busy making and restocking our existing products, and next week we’ll be back to making more deodorants. 💪

For now, we’re in beautiful Hebden Bridge, taking a little time to recharge our batteries… although, of course, we’re still keeping an eye on emails and messages! 📱😉
