Today we had a client come in who was ready to give up on removing an ex's name from her finger. She’d tried laser elsewhere, and while it faded a little bit at first, it completely stalled out. Nothing was moving.
Finger tattoos are notoriously stubborn. Because of the poor circulation in our hands, the lymphatic system has to work twice as hard to carry shattered ink away. Once the easy-to-reach, shallow ink is gone, playing it too safe with the laser settings means you'll just plateau.
Instead of just cranking our laser up to the max to force a reaction, we took a smarter, safer approach.
