Partial mesh has done it again.

I actually wish I got a photo of this client from the front because the difference was night and day after we installed the partial mesh.

This client came to me with around 30-40g of nanos in her hair but she didn’t really look after them at all or follow aftercare which wasn’t going to work for me going forward if she didn’t look after her hair extensions.

Either way how sparse her hair was and the feeling of her natural density and hair growth that I could see from her crown, I decided she would be better going for 50g of partial mesh which would give her the fullness she was looking for from root to ends.

After this was installed, we straightened the top of her hair it was night and day to the nanos she had in. We cut her side fringe as well to make that blend seamlessly into the sides of her hair and it just all flowed naturally.

The client left so happy and so did I with how well it had turned out. This client now knows to come back in every 6-8 weeks and her appointments have already been booked!

Sometimes you don’t need more length, you just need more HAIR 🤍

Using as little as 50–80g of Nano Hair Extensions, we can completely transform fine, flat or sparse hair, adding beautiful thickness from root to end while keeping the result lightweight and natural.

A Volume Row is perfect if you:

- Love your current length but want more fullness
- Have fine or flat hair that needs a boost
- Want thicker, healthier-looking ends
- Don’t feel you need a full head of extensions
- Want something a little easier to maintain

A traditional full head can use anywhere from 140–200g+ of hair, whereas a Volume Row uses just 50–80g depending on your natural hair and desired result.

That means less hair, fewer bonds and less maintenance, but still a HUGE difference to the overall look and feel of your hair.

Hair that no longer looks flat or wispy through the ends, but full, thick and beautifully blended from root to tip.

Sometimes 50g really is all it takes. 🪄

Why are nanos still one of my FAVOURITE extension methods? 🤍

Because sometimes you don’t need a full head of extensions to make a BIG difference.

For some of my clients, as little as 80g of nanos is enough to add that missing fullness through the sides and ends, fill out finer areas and completely change the overall look of their hair.

And this is what I love about nanos! I have so much control over where I place the hair.

But does that mean I’ll always recommend nanos? Absolutely not.

Sometimes a Volume Row with a different method is the better option.

It all comes down to YOUR natural hair, the result you want, how you wear your hair and your lifestyle.

I’m not here to fit as much hair as possible.

I’m here to choose the right method, right amount of hair, right placement to give you a result that looks like it belongs to you.

Hair extensions do not have to be just a full head!

This client came to me, and when she first started coming to me she was looking for a little bit more length and a full head which at the time we went for because for her to go longer in length she needed the weight to support it.

So we went for 140g of nano hair extensions and in the length 16”. As time went on we ended up cutting these extensions to the length of her natural hair and so when she decided to go lighter I gave her the option of a volume row instead which is what we’ve done here.

80g of nano hair extensions in 3 different shades from Viola Hair Extensions and you wouldn’t even know she had hair extensions in. We just thickened up her ends but also gave her that little bit of volume around her hairline as well.

Volume rows can also be good for just helping hold a curl or style in your hair and also take away the frizz look that can happen a lot with humidity etc. that’s another reason this client opted for a volume row. She tends to have a bit of frizz within her hair but once the volume row is applied this can be less visible as well and it holds a better style with just as little as an extra 80g of hair.

Save this post for someone who struggled with any of the above but also if you know someone that would benefit from just as little as 80g. It’s my most popular method.
