One question I get asked all the time..

What’s the difference between LVL Lash Lift and Korean Lash Lift?

The answer is complicated! A good lash lift requires excellent technique, the lash techs understanding of different eye shapes and selecting the correct shields for the client. It’s never a ‘one size fits all’ scenario

The main differences:
⭐️In terms of technique, the Korean lash lift uses a Cystamine based solution that is gentle enough to place on the lashes from root to tip as opposed to traditional TGA based lash lift solutions that are applied from the root to middle of the lashes only

⭐️Traditional TGA based lash lift solutions mean you can use a wider array of shields allowing you to get a tighter curl ‘L’ shape. Korean lash lifting techniques and shields focus on the lift aspect to achieve the perfect ‘C’ curl

⭐️Perming the lashes flat down first with solution from root to tip, allows us to later ‘fix’ the lashes up on a larger shield. Larger shields + lifted from root to tip = longer length lashes and larger curls

⭐️Korean Lash Lifts usually add special powders to their solutions to help thicken the texture to allow for a glueless shield application

Both TGA & Cystamine lash lift solutions absolutely have a place in this industry are give excellent results every time! It’s about being able to offer more options to deliver the best results for everyone
