Hope you are all well, just updating a little as I have received so many lovely messages, honestly can’t believe how lovely everyone has been, I feel very blessed 🩷🩷

Had some gorgeous flowers, chocolate, cards, books,

So Saturday … I was definitely feel a tad over optimistic about how I would be feeling by now 😂, don’t know if it’s finally my age catching up or if my body has finally had enough of endo, but this has been a SLOG!!

Pain is improving every day, which is great but my god has it been a shocker. Genuinely feel like I have been gutted and hit by a truck at the same time.
Waiting for the hormones to kick in at some point also …. 😂
Only managed to get up properly yesterday for a couple of hours and have sat outside for a little bit 🥴🥴 whereas in my head … I had very different plans for my recovery week 😂😂😂

I’m not one for sitting still and I am the worlds worst patient with a very high pain threshold, so to do as I’m told without a taser being involved is unheard of. 😂

But …… as I said everyday is getting better and the pain is less violent. Off of all of the very strong painkillers now and just having regular rounds of “normal” painkillers.

I am definitely coming back as a man in my next life 😂😂😂😂😂

Morning everyone

Just a little update to let you know I’m home.

Have finally found the most amazing medical team at UCLH, I have been so well looked after, had my own room, & after care nurse. When I came around from surgery they put a huge tube under my covers which turned out to be a heater !! The most magnificent thing ever and a level of care I have never received before.

For the first time since my endometriosis diagnosis when I was 15 years old , I have not been treated like a burden or a time waster. If anyone reading this suffers with endometriosis, adenomyosis or even bad menopause symptoms, i cannot encourage you enough to refer to UCLH.

They have found a lot of other issues that were either not spotted or dismissed and have done alot of work in my womb Inc Adenomyosis and a hole in my womb, just to mention a couple.
A hysterectomy just won’t do anything to help at the stage I am at with it, so there is no point, it’s just making things good, unless there is an emergency.

Pain has been a bit more than expected, actually quite violent, I feel like I have been gutted 😂 so I’m so glad i decided to do as I am told and take a week off of work … miracles do happen occasionally 😂😂😂😂😂

I heard them say “I am fixed” Adam said that’s not what they said 😂 I’m on the road to being fixed …. amazing what anaesthetic and hope can make you hear 😂😂😂 but it’s a bloody good road to be on ❤️

So not moving much at all, don’t think I have ever spent as long in bed as I have done since yesterday morning 😂 I have a good team of doctors/prison guards at home who are tending to my every need and making sure I do as I am told, they may need a taser as I start to feel better 😂😂

I have received so many lovely messages, thank you so much to all of you for taking the time to send one.

Back on my feet in no time, not much that beats me, too bloody stubborn 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Just a little reminder that I will be closed temporarily until Monday 5th October (at present) as I am in hospital tomorrow for an operation.

Endometriosis absolutely SUCKS !! Something I was diagnosed with at the age of 15 (now 48) it has caused no end of problems and pain and hopefully this will be the last big operation to keep me on track ❤️❤️❤️ we all need a bit more awareness on this total body disorder.
I always plough on and as you know nothing stops me 😂😂😂 not even this horrible bu**er !!!!

Just to make you all aware that from Tuesday 29th Sept the salon is temporarily closed due to me having to have surgery, a bit unplanned and all happened a bit quickly but I will be having some time off next week to recover, with a soft return to work the week after.

As I have had to rearrange ALOT of clients, there is currently no availability at all and the cancellation list has been paused for a bit due to my pre booked clients taking priority.
