Christmas is just around the corner, and as you all know, this is my busiest time of year! ✂️💇‍♀️

I like to be organised and prepared in advance so I can make sure I fit you all in and don’t disappoint anyone. ❤️

So please, get those diaries out, work out your Christmas party dates, nights out and festive plans, and get yourselves booked in before it’s too late! 🎅🏼🥂

✂️🤍 THE LIFE OF A HAIRDRESSER… IT'S SO MUCH MORE THAN JUST HAIR 🤍✂️

Some people think all I do is hair and talk all day. Easy job, right?

But what people don't realise is that behind that salon chair, there's a whole lot more going on than just cutting, colouring and having a good old gossip. ❤️

I've cried with my ladies grieving the loss of loved ones. I've comforted a friend through her battle with cancer. I've had to say goodbye to clients who have trusted me with their hair for years because they're moving away.

I've watched my ladies fall in love, get married, become mums and even grandmas. I've been there through divorces, new relationships, pregnancies and heartbreaking losses.
I've listened to stories of heartbreak, celebrated new beginnings, laughed until my stomach hurt and shared tears when words just weren't enough.

I've watched women walk through my door feeling like their whole world is falling apart and leave with a smile on their face, even if it's just for a little while. ❤️

I've been a listening ear, a shoulder to cry on, a secret keeper and sometimes the biggest cheerleader my ladies have needed.

Some of you have sat in my chair and told me things you've never felt able to share with anyone else. You've trusted me with so much more than just your hair. You've trusted me with your stories, your struggles, your secrets and your happiness.

And the beautiful thing is, you've been there for me too. You've listened to my stories, shared my laughter and supported me through my own highs and lows.

Over the years, you've gone from being my clients to becoming my friends. Some of you even feel like family. 🥹❤️

So when people say, "All you do is hair and chat all day," I smile, because they'll never understand just how much happens behind that salon chair.

I don't just do hair. I get to be a little part of so many people's lives, and that's something money could never buy.

To every single lady who has ever sat in my chair, thank you. Thank you for trusting me, for opening up to me, for laughing with me, crying with me and allowing me to share your journey.
I might make your hair look beautiful, but you ladies have made my career something truly special.

25 years in this industry, and it's never been JUST HAIR. ✂️❤️
