I’ll feel more confident when...
For years, I felt like I needed to hide myself. I’d try not to draw attention to my body and even hide behind my children in photos. But lipoedema doesn’t mean I have to make myself invisible. My body has changed, my size has changed, and there have been so many different versions of me, but I still deserve to dress boldly, take the family pictures, make memories and be present in my own life. I don’t want to look back and see all the moments I missed because I was waiting to become a different size.
Confidence isn’t a dress size, and you don’t have to wait for a different body to start living your life.
