β¨ RESTORING THE SHACK IS BACK! β¨
Iβm so excited to be running this beautiful course again β and this time, Iβm creating an especially warm, relaxed and nurturing space where we can explore, discover and grow without taking life too seriously. πππ»
Over 6β8 weeks, weβll come together for a couple of hours each week to enjoy a mixture of reflection, conversation, journaling, mindfulness, meditation, prayer and our special sacred circle β with plenty of tea, coffee, cake and biscuits along the way! βοΈπ°π₯°
Thereβs no pressure to share, and you donβt need to talk about anything you donβt want to.
You can simply listen, take part in the activities, enjoy the company and take whatever feels right for you. πππ»
At its heart, Restoring the Shack is about discovering more about ourselves, seeing things from a different perspective, nurturing our relationship with the Divine and exploring what can happen when we give ourselves a little time and space. ππ»β¨π
You might laugh.
You might learn something new.
You might have a little βaha!β moment.
You might see something differently.
Or you might simply enjoy a couple of lovely hours away from the busyness of everyday life. π₯°ππ»π
And perhaps the biggest gift is simply giving yourself permission to stop for a while. π

After 20 years of waiting, tomorrow is finally the day.
I honestly donβt think the words βIβm excitedβ come anywhere close to describing how I feel. ππ»
The Shack wasnβt just a book for me. It was completely life-changing.
It found its way into some of the deepest parts of me, challenged me, moved me, changed me and opened up conversations that have stayed with me for years. π₯°
And those conversations never really stopped.
Over the past 20 years Iβve had so many powerful and deeply meaningful conversations about The Shack. Iβve talked about it, reflected on it, wrestled with it, learned from it β and Iβve given the book away countless times because when something has impacted your life so profoundly, you want other people to experience it too.
Then came Restoring the Shack.
Iβve had the incredible privilege of running the Restoring the Shack course, and that journey has been every bit as profound.
Iβve witnessed people explore deep wounds, ask difficult questions, discover new perspectives and experience genuine healing and transformation.πππ»
And the truth is, it has transformed me too.π₯°
So tomorrow feels like so much more than the release of another book.
It feels like a return.
A return to a story that changed me.
A return to conversations that have shaped so much of my journey.
A return to something that has been part of my life for two decades.
Tomorrow, The Return to the Shack is finally released.
Iβve waited 20 years for this moment.
Twenty years.
And now the wait is almost over.
I feel excited. Emotional. Grateful. Curious. Expectant. And probably a whole lot of other things that I havenβt even found words for yet.
I wonder what this next chapter will uncover.
I wonder what conversations it will start.ππ»π₯°
I wonder whose life it might touch. π₯°ππ»
But most of all, Iβm simply incredibly grateful that after all these years, I get to return to the Shack.
Bring on tomorrow.

Much love

If youβre struggling right nowβ¦ if youβre going through a dark, difficult or uncertain time, please hang in there, my friend. ππ»
You may just be in your cocoon time β and although it might not look like much is happening from the outside, it can be one of the most powerful times of transformation. ππ¦
Think about the butterflyβ¦
When a caterpillar enters its cocoon, it may look like nothing is happening. Itβs still. Quiet. Hidden away.
But inside, an incredible transformation is taking place.πππ»
The caterpillar is literally changing form through metamorphosis.
Itβs a profound and necessary part of becoming what it was always meant to become. π¦
And sometimes, we need our own cocoon.
Sometimes life asks us to unplug from everything weβve been doing, to stop, rest and simply be.π₯°
Especially when weβre exhausted, completely burnt out, overwhelmed, or struggling emotionally, mentally, physically or spiritually. π΄
Perhaps this is your invitation to step away from the noise and enter your own sacred cocoon for a while β a place of deep rest, healing, restoration and transformation. ππ»π
Because just because you canβt see anything happening, doesnβt mean nothing is happening.
There can be so much happening within us beneath the surface.
Our bodies need time to rest, restore, recover and recuperate.
Our minds and hearts need space to process, heal and breathe.
Rest is not unproductive.
Being still is not laziness.
Taking time out does not mean youβre falling behind.
Sometimes, it is the most important work you can do. π₯°ππ»π
We are human beings before we are human doings. π
So, my friend, if youβre going through a really dark or difficult time right now, please be gentle with yourself.
Give yourself permission to slow down.
Give yourself permission to rest.
Give yourself permission to heal.
Give yourself permission to simply be.
Trust that even when it feels like nothing is happening, there may be a beautiful transformation unfolding deep within you. ππ¦π₯°ππ»π«Άπ»
And when the time is right, youβll emerge from your cocoon ready for the next part of your journey. β¨π¦
Be patient with yourself. Be kind to yourself. And please donβt struggle alone. ππ«Άπ»ππ»
If you would like to talk, or simply need someone to listen, please know that my inbox is open. ππ»ππ«Άπ»
Sending love to anyone who is in their cocoon right now.
Your story isnβt over.
Youβre transforming. π¦β¨
Much love, always
Kate

Iβm not perfect. Thatβs why I practice.
There is always room for growth, depth, expansion and exploration.
Stepping onto our mats, we remind ourselves that life is about showing up.
Showing up to the parts of us that yearn to be touched upon. The anger, the love, the sadness, the joy. The difficult, the easy. The darkness, the light.
Our practice reminds us that each day brings a newness to it. Sometimes a forward growth, sometimes a backwards growth. But growth nonetheless.
Our practice is our space to be vulnerable in our strength.
For we know that itβs ever changing. Itβs ever unfolding.
Our practice is a place to connect in.
To explore the depths of our soul. And to reach the peaks of our emotions.
To meld, yoke, and unite them together.
Our practice reminds us that we are not perfect. And that is exactly where we find our strength.
For when we stop learning, we stop growing. Never perfect, always expanding.
βπΌ Mary OβMeara πππ»
And perhaps thatβs the beauty of yogaβ¦ it meets us exactly where we are. π₯°
There is no need to be perfect, to be the strongest or the most flexible.
We simply show up, breathe, listen and allow ourselves to grow β one breath, one movement and one day at a time. π§ββοΈβ¨
Even on the days when our practice looks a little different, it still counts.ππ»
The days when we feel joyful, the days when we feel heavy, and even the days when we feel angry. π€¬
We donβt have to arrive on our mats feeling peaceful or have everything figured out.
We simply show up.
Because showing up for ourselves, exactly as we are, is a practice in itself. πππ»π«Άπ»π₯°
Much Love

FULLY BOOKED π
Give yourself permission to pauseβ¦ π
You are warmly invited to join me for my next Restorative Yoga session-
When life feels busy, noisy and full of demands, how often do we truly give ourselves permission to stop?
Restorative Yoga offers a beautiful opportunity to step away from the busyness of everyday life and simply rest, restore your body, breathe and be.
With the body fully supported by cushions and props, we can gently release tension and allow the nervous system to soften. The breath becomes slower, the mind quieter, and we create space to reconnect with ourselves. πΈ
β¨ No pushing.
β¨ No striving.
β¨ No need to achieve anything.
Just time to pause, receive and restore. π
Restorative Yoga reminds us that rest is not a luxury β it is part of our natural rhythm.
If you feel called to slow down, nourish yourself and spend some precious time simply being, I would love to welcome you. π«Άπ»π₯°ππ»
βRestorative Yoga is not about doing more. It is about learning to be present for this moment, exactly as it is.β

π SACRED CIRCLE βοΈ A return to the Divine Feminineβ¨ Held at The Upper Room Studio β¨
There is something deeply powerful about women gathering in circle.
For generations, women have created spaces to share stories, wisdom, love, laughter, grief, dreams and the experiences that shape us.
The circle has no hierarchy.
No woman is above another.
No woman is beneath another.
We sit beside one another.
We listen.
We witness.
We hold space.
We nurture.
We encourage.
We rise together. πππ»
In a world that can so often encourage women to compare, compete and carry everything alone, Sacred Circle βοΈ is an invitation to remember something different.
The wisdom of sisterhood.
The power of community.
The beauty of being witnessed exactly as you are.
This is a space to reconnect with your Divine Feminine β the intuitive, nurturing, creative, powerful and deeply knowing part of you.πππ»π₯°
A place to soften without becoming small.
To be vulnerable without feeling weak.
To be powerful without needing to prove yourself.
To release what no longer serves you and make space for what wants to emerge.
β¨ We heal together.
β¨ We empower one another.
β¨ We celebrate one another.
β¨ We hold one another.
β¨ We rise together.
sometimes, the woman you need to meet is the woman you become when you finally feel safe enough to be fully yourself.
βοΈ This is Sacred Circle.
A space to remember who you are.
A space to reconnect with yourself.
A space to reconnect with other women.
A space to come home to your feminine energy.
Because when women gather with open hearts and intention, something shifts.
And perhaps the deepest remembering is this:
You were never meant to do it all alone.
βοΈ Welcome to Sacred Circle.
A sacred space for women to reconnect with their feminine energy, their inner wisdom and the magic of sisterhood.
πHeld at The Upper Room Studio.π
Come as you are.
Leave feeling more connected, more supported and more deeply yourself.
The circle is open. βοΈ
Much love

RESTORATIVE YOGA β A GENTLE RESET FOR BODY & MIND β¨π§ββοΈ
In a world where weβre constantly doing, rushing and thinking, restorative yoga gives us permission to simply be.
Through gentle poses, supported relaxation and slow, mindful breathing, we create space to soften the body and calm the mind. ππ»π«Άπ»π₯°
Restorative yoga can help to:
πΈ Calm the stress response and support a more relaxed nervous system
πΈ Slow the breath and encourage deeper, more mindful breathing
πΈ Release physical tension and allow the muscles to truly relax
πΈ Ease the feeling of being constantly βswitched onβ
πΈ Encourage rest, stillness and a sense of inner calm
πΈ Give the body time and space to restore and replenish
πΈ Support relaxation and restful sleep
πΈ Help us reconnect with our body and become more aware of how weβre feeling
πΈ Create a peaceful pause from the demands of everyday life
Itβs not about stretching further, pushing harder or achieving the perfect pose.
Itβs about letting go.
Allowing your body to be fully supported.
Allowing your breath to slow.
Allowing your muscles to soften.
Allowing your nervous system to settle.
Allowing yourself to rest.
Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do for ourselves is nothing at all.
Just breathe.
Just soften.
Just rest. π§ββοΈπ«Άπ»ππ₯°ππ»
Your body works hard for you every day.
Restorative yoga is an invitation to give something back. β¨π«Άπ»π
Much love
