There’s a lot of information out there about threads, and sometimes it can be difficult to separate what they can genuinely achieve from what you see online.

So let’s talk about it.

Depending on the type of thread used, PDO threads can help to:
✨ Create a subtle lifting effect in areas where support and definition may be needed.
✨ Improve the appearance of skin laxity, helping to refine areas such as the mid-face and jawline in suitable patients.
✨ Stimulate the body's natural collagen response, supporting skin quality over time.

But here’s the important bit. Not all threads work in the same way, and they’re not suitable for everyone.

For me, it’s never about chasing the most dramatic result or making someone look completely different.

It’s about understanding their anatomy, their skin and what they actually want to achieve, then deciding whether threads are the right option.

Because good aesthetics isn't about doing more. It’s about doing what’s right for you.

Natural-looking results. Thoughtful treatment. Supporting your skin, not changing who you are.

Got questions about PDO threads? Drop them below or send me a message. I’m always happy to talk you through the treatment.

A few more PDO thread results to share with you all. 👀

This treatment focused on the jawline, with the aim of creating a subtle lift and more refined definition while keeping everything looking natural.

I love being able to share these results with you because I think it’s important to show what treatments can achieve, rather than just talk about them.

Thoughtful treatments, natural-looking results and supporting the skin as part of a personalised approach.

I’ll be sharing more PDO thread results and talking through the treatment over the coming weeks, so if you have any questions, feel free to pop them below or send me a message.

I’m sure you’ve seen the results online… The really dramatic ones. The completely “snatched” faces. 👀
And yes, PDO threads can create a visible lifting effect.
But that’s not really what I’m interested in.

For me, the beauty of PDO threads is that they can be used much more subtly, as part of a personalised approach to facial rejuvenation and skin quality.

I’m much more interested in creating a refined lift, supporting areas of mild laxity and encouraging the skin’s own regenerative processes, rather than trying to make someone look completely different.

That’s why my approach to threads is very much in line with how I approach everything else at Hada.
✅ Natural results
✅ Thoughtful treatment
✅ Long-term skin health

And this is also why I’ve spent so much time training.

I’ve trained in PDO threads before, but I kept looking for a deeper understanding of the treatment, the techniques and how to use them appropriately for different faces.

That’s what led me to training with Cheree Leon, someone with over 20 years of experience in the industry, specialising in advanced face thread and corrective treatments.

For me, it’s never about simply learning how to perform a treatment.
It’s about understanding why I’m doing it, where I’m doing it and whether it’s actually the right treatment for that person.

Because I don’t want to give you someone else’s face. I want to help you get the best version of your face.
And that, to me, is where the real beauty of regenerative aesthetics lies.

If you’ve been thinking about PDO threads, you might be surprised to know that not all threads are designed to do the same thing. 👀

There are different types of PDO threads, and they can be used for different purposes depending on what you’re looking to achieve.
👉Lifting threads can provide a mechanical lifting effect, helping to create more definition and address areas of mild skin laxity.
👉Mono threads are different. They don’t provide the same mechanical lift, but can be used to support the skin and stimulate the body’s natural collagen response over time.

And sometimes, a treatment can involve a combination of both which is exactly what I had done myself. I had lifting threads through my mid-face and jawline, along with mono threads around the brow area.

The aim wasn’t to change my face. It was to make subtle improvements in the areas I felt needed a little support, while keeping everything looking natural.

This is why consultation is so important.

There isn’t one thread treatment that’s right for everyone. It’s about understanding your anatomy, your skin, your goals and choosing the right approach for you.

The right treatment. For the right reason.

As some of you know, I recently had a PDO thread treatment myself, and I wanted to show you exactly what we did and why.

I had PDO lifting threads placed through the mid-face and jawline because I wanted a subtle lift and a little more definition, while keeping everything looking completely natural.

I also had mono threads placed around the brow area.

Now, not all PDO threads do the same thing.

The lifting threads are designed to provide a mechanical lifting effect, whereas mono threads are used more to support the skin and stimulate collagen as part of the skin rejuvenation process.

For me, it wasn’t about dramatically changing my face. I wanted to support the areas I felt needed a little improvement and keep everything looking like me.

And that’s really important when it comes to treatments like this.

It’s not about doing as much as possible. It’s about understanding what you’re trying to achieve and choosing the right treatment, or combination of treatments, for you.

I’m really happy with how things are looking so far, and I’ll be sharing more of my healing journey over the coming days and weeks.

So if you’ve been wondering what PDO threads actually involve, what the different types do, or whether they could be suitable for you, keep following along.

A little look at what PDO threads can achieve.

This treatment focused on the mid-face and jawline, with the aim of creating a subtle lift and more refined definition while keeping the result natural-looking-which is exactly how I like to approach treatments at Hada! I’m not interested in making someone look different, it’s about making subtle improvements that work with your existing features.

I’m really excited to be bringing PDO threads into the clinic and over the coming weeks I’ll be talking much more about the treatment, how it works, who it can be suitable for and some of the questions and misconceptions I hear most often.

I’ll also be sharing more real results along the way.

If you’re wondering whether PDO threads could be right for you, or you simply have questions about the treatment, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Let’s talk PDO threads. 👀

I’m really excited to be bringing PDO threads to Hada, and over the coming weeks I want to talk through the treatment properly. There’s a lot of information out there about PDO threads, so I want to explain what they are, how they work, what they can be used for, who they might be suitable for and, importantly, some of the common misconceptions and concerns I hear from patients.

I’ll also be sharing some real treatment results and talking through what we’re seeing along the way!

For me, it’s really important that you understand what a treatment actually involves before deciding whether it’s right for you. PDO threads can be used as part of a personalised approach to facial rejuvenation, and like any treatment, they’re not suitable for everyone.

I’m not here to tell you that you need threads. I’m here to give you the information so you can understand the treatment and decide, with the right professional advice, whether it could be appropriate for you.

So, over the next few weeks, I’ll be answering some of the questions I get asked most often, sharing more about the treatment and showing you some of the results.

PDO threads. No scare stories. No hype. Just a proper conversation about the treatment. And if you’ve got a question, or you’re wondering whether PDO threads could be right for you, don’t hesitate to get in touch.

This is exactly why I was so excited to bring Onda Pro to Hada.

We’re continuing to see some really encouraging changes in the stomach area, with improvements in body contouring and the appearance of the skin. But honestly, one of my favourite parts of doing this treatment is seeing the reaction from the person standing in front of me afterwards.

When a client looks in the mirror and you can see how pleased they are with the changes, that’s the bit that makes all the research, training and investment worth it.

Onda Pro is non-surgical and uses Coolwaves® technology to target areas of stubborn fat while also supporting skin tightening. Every treatment is personalised to the individual, because everyone’s starting point and goals are different.

And this is just the beginning… 👀 More results and treatment journeys coming soon.

Get in touch if you are wondering if this treatment could be right for you.

If you don’t like sunscreen… I’ve got you. 😂☀️
But I felt it was worth talking about this as we head into the cooler months because I know a lot of people start thinking: “It’s winter. I don’t need sunscreen anymore.” WRONG.

Guys UV exposure doesn’t disappear just because the temperature drops. If you’re spending time outside, your skin is still being exposed to UV, which can contribute to premature skin ageing and pigmentation.

I also know that even the least fussy among us can have sunscreen preferences.
Too thick?
Too greasy?
Leaves a white cast?
Doesn’t sit nicely under make-up?
Which is why I have different options available in clinic. Finding an SPF you actually LOVE using makes it much easier to stay consistent.

If you’re already following a treatment plan, protecting your skin should be part of that plan too but you don’t need to be having treatments to start looking after your skin!
If you’re not sure where to start, finding a good SPF that works for you and your skin is a really good first step.

So don’t hesitate to pop into the clinic, have a chat with me and we can talk through your options.

Cooler weather? Fine.
Giving up your SPF? Absolutely not.

REGENERATIVE AESTHETICS What does it actually mean?

For me, it’s about supporting your skin rather than simply changing it. It’s about encouraging the skin’s natural processes, supporting collagen production, improving skin quality and helping you maintain healthy-looking skin over time.

It’s not about chasing every new treatment and It’s not always about doing more. And it’s certainly not about trying to stop you from ageing. It’s about helping you age well! 🤍

That could look like microneedling, PRF, skin boosters, CO₂ laser, collagen-stimulating treatments or simply getting the foundations right with good skincare and and the right SPF.

The treatment is only part of the story. Consistency is what makes the difference.
