😲This one was a first for me!

This client presented with muffled hearing that had lasted for over 2 years and a GP review suggested the ear was blocked with wax. It quickly became apparent that this was not presenting as I would normally expect and the suggestion of a rubber ear bud was dismissed as they use Apple air pods. First grab with a claw tool and there it was - a small rubber bud off of a set of earphones. The shock was real and the relief was instant. It’s not often I get to send my clients away with a souvenir.

A remarkable cryotherapy result!

This client came to me with a large, raised wart on the nose that was proving difficult to live with. They were given an affectionate nickname from their grandchildren but now this nose is brand new and the nickname can be no more. Using targeted cryotherapy, the area was carefully treated to freeze the unwanted tissue, allowing the body to naturally shed the treated area as the skin healed.

The before-and-after photos show a fantastic transformation, with the prominent wart no longer visible and the area looking much clearer.

Cryotherapy can be an effective treatment for certain warts and skin lesions, although results can vary from person to person and some lesions may require more than one treatment.

Sometimes, the smallest of things can cause the biggest problems, and this was certainly true with a stubborn ball of ear wax. It had been old and firmly stuck in place, causing discomfort and a muffled sense of hearing. With just a few drops of oil to soften it and a little gentle persuasion, I was able to carefully remove it. The relief was immediate and hearing was much clearer.

~ KERATOSIS ~

The keratosis patches on the back of the knee were bothering this client, making it hard to wear clothes comfortably. These patches felt rough and often caught on fabrics, which was frustrating. To help, a treatment called Cryotherapy using Nitrous Oxide was used. After just one session, the results were amazing. The patches became flat and smooth, and the buildup of skin cells was removed. The client now feels much more comfortable in their skin and can wear clothes without any trouble.

I love seeing the amazing results of tattoo removal treatments. Each session brings noticeable changes as the pigment fades away, revealing clearer skin underneath. It’s great to witness clients getting closer to their end goal, whether it’s complete removal or simply lightening the tattoo for a cover-up. The journey can be challenging, but the excitement builds with each visit, as people reclaim their skin and feel a renewed sense of confidence. It’s truly rewarding to see their transformation and happiness grow.

It’s completely okay to no longer love a tattoo like you once did. As we grow and change, some things, including tattoos, might not feel like they represent us anymore.
