If you’re starting out in the beauty industry, PLEASE stop believing these 👀
You do NOT need thousands of followers.
You do NOT need a fancy salon.
You do NOT need to offer every treatment going.
And you definitely don’t need to be the cheapest to get clients.
One of the biggest things we see with people coming into this industry is comparing themselves to everyone else and feeling like they’re already behind before they’ve even properly started.
You’re not.
Focus on getting GOOD at what you do. Build your confidence, keep learning, give your clients a good experience and let your reputation grow from there. 🙌🏼

Not all training is created equal… 👀🚩
Choosing where you train is SO important. You’re not just paying for a certificate, you’re investing in the knowledge, confidence and practical skills you’ll take into your own business.
There are so many courses out there, so please do your research. Ask who the course is accredited by, what practical experience you’ll actually get, how many students are on the day and, most importantly, what support you’ll receive once you leave.
A certificate doesn’t automatically make you confident in a treatment… good education, plenty of hands-on practice and ongoing support does 🙌🏼
