Your colour is an investment, so you want it looking its best for as long as possible. Here are a few simple ways to protect it between appointments…🤍
🚿 Turn down the temperature
Hot water can encourage the hair cuticle to open, which can cause colour to fade faster. Lukewarm is your friend!
🫧 Try not to overwash
The more often you shampoo, the quicker your colour can fade. Where possible, aim for 2–3 washes a week.
🧴 Use the right products
Professional, colour-safe shampoo and conditioner really can make a difference. If you’re unsure what’s best for your hair, just ask us!
🔥 Always use heat protection
Straighteners, curlers and even your hairdryer can take their toll on your colour, so never skip your heat protectant.
☀️ Don’t forget about the sun
UV exposure can fade your colour too, particularly during the summer or on holiday. A UV-protecting hair product or a hat can help.
💧 Keep your hair hydrated
Healthy, conditioned hair holds onto colour better and keeps that gorgeous shine, so give it a little extra TLC between appointments.
