This is what coming to Kay’s Sanctuary actually feels like… 💜

You come in, get comfy, lie back and for a little while you don’t have to think about anything else.

Your skin gets the refresh it needs, while you get a bit of quiet time for yourself too.

That’s what I want my appointments to be about. Not rushing in and out. Not feeling like just another appointment in the diary. Just calm, one-to-one time where you can switch off and let me take care of you.

When I made Kay’s Sanctuary, I wanted women to have somewhere they could come in and take a breath for a while.

It might take a minute to settle, and that’s absolutely fine. I’ll have the room ready for you.

A lady asked me what that big white box actually does 😂

And honestly? Fair question.

Because hearing, “It encourages collagen and elastin,” sounds very professional…

But if you don’t know what either of those things does, it explains absolutely nothing.

So let’s put it into normal lady language.

What do collagen and elastin do?

Collagen = support.
Elastin = bounce.

Together, they help your skin look bouncier, fresher and more youthful-looking.

So what does the machine do?

It uses radio frequency to gently warm the deeper layers of your skin.

That warmth encourages your body to produce more collagen and elastin, which can help your skin look more lifted and contoured.

And what will you feel?

Warmth. It shouldn’t feel uncomfortable, and I’ll keep checking in while you lie back and switch off.

So no, the big white box isn’t just sitting there taking up half of my room and looking important 😂

I sometimes laugh when I say I’m starting work after the school run… because by 10am, it can already feel like I’ve lived half a day 😂

Maybe your morning looks completely different from mine. But if you’re the one everybody relies on, I’m guessing you know the feeling.

When you come through my door, you might already have half a day running through your head before you’ve even sat down.

That’s why I get the bed ready, soften the room and take care of the little details before you arrive.

It isn’t about making everything look perfect. It’s about making sure you don’t have to walk in and manage one more thing.

Whatever is easiest for everybody else.

We call ourselves low-maintenance because it sounds like we’re easy going and no bother. But sometimes, we’ve just spent so long fitting around everyone else that we don’t even notice we’re going without.

You don’t need to become demanding or start making a PowerPoint about where you want to eat 😂

But you are allowed to have preferences. You’re allowed to want quiet, care and a little time where nobody needs anything from you.

It’s one of the reasons Kay’s Sanctuary is private and one-to-one.

You can talk, be quiet, come exactly as you are… and let somebody else consider you for once. 💜
