5 whole years of Elilocks 🥹 and honestly, what a journey it’s been!!

When I opened these doors 5 years ago I had no idea where it would take me, how much I would grow as a person, a business owner and a hairdresser or how many amazing people would become such a huge part of my journey.

There have been SO many highs but there have definitely been bumps in the road too. Times where I’ve questioned myself, times where things haven’t gone to plan and times where I’ve had to step back, learn, change and grow. But looking around the salon today, I couldn’t be prouder of what I’ve built. 🤍

One of the biggest things I’m proud of is the team I have around me. My gorg girls, Harriet, Lacey & Mia I genuinely couldn’t imagine work without you girls. Watching you all grow in confidence, develop your skills and become such a huge part of the salon makes me SO proud. We’ve laughed, stressed, worked our arses off, celebrated, learnt and grown together and I’m so excited for everything we’re going to continue building together! And to every single client who has supported us over the last 5 years, especially the ones who have been sitting in our chairs since DAY ONE thank you. 🥺 Some of you have followed me through different hair colours, life changes, my pregnancy, breakups, new homes and everything in between 😂 You’re not just clients, you’ve genuinely become such a special part of my life and I’ll never take that for granted.

Of course we cannot forget bodhi bear, the only member of staff who turns up every single day, gets paid absolutely nothing and somehow still thinks he’s the boss. His salary consists of chicken, extra special beef, unlimited cuddles and giving every client approximately 100 barks before demanding attention and their biscoff 😂🤍 He’s been here for the love, the cuddles, the snacks and of course clearing all your handbags full of mischief.

Elilocks has changed so much over these 5 years and so have I. What started as a dream has become something I’m incredibly proud to call mine. And knowing there’s still so much more to come makes me even more excited for the future. 🥰
