One of the reasons I love working with inorganic-based pigments for microblading is the way they can support a soft, natural-looking fade over time.

Rather than continually layering strong, saturated colour, the pigment gradually lightens, helping to maintain a more natural appearance as the brows age.

This is particularly important when it comes to future top-ups.

As the previous pigment fades, we have more of a canvas to work with, allowing me to refresh and redefine the brows with individual hairstrokes, rather than simply adding more colour over already saturated brows.

The result is brows that can be refreshed, refined and beautifully defined over time — while helping to avoid the heavy, blocky appearance that can occur with excessive pigment build-up.
