Brilliant performances from the Chester marathon

Ben Rowlands ran a brilliant 2.50.16
Oliver Birch ran an amazing
2.57.42 PB by 27 mins from when he ran it last year.
His run was class. He paced it perfectly.
Aaron Dodwell ran a 2.58.00 PB by 1 min. He did suffer towards the end after not being well in the week build up to the race. There's a much faster time in Aaron, but he's promised to leave the marathon alone for a while and become a really fast runner over 5k and 10k.
3 great runners, with loads more to come and progress into.

After a windy/rainy week, Sunday turned out to be a beautiful morning.

Tom Sirett has a strong run to finish 21st in 1.44.08 PB by 2 mins.
Paul Buckley ran an amazing 1.48.33 PB winning his V65 age group by a massive 19 mins.

What a fantastic run by Edward Austin to run 3.33.40 hours in the Berlin marathon.
He was only running 16 miles per week when I started coaching him in July.
He's been so good. He's not missed one day of training apart from the travelling to Italy before then to Berlin.
He paces so well.
Well done Eddie.
