I just KNOW some of you are going to instantly recognise some of these horrors on the nails! (Some of you are also going to be very confused). This must be one of my FAVOURITE sets this Halloween. It’s creepy and unsettling, just how Halloween should be.

Let me explain a bit - these nails are based off some scary stories told on the website CREEPYPASTA. It was popular in the early 2010s and both myself and my client were telling each other our favourite stories from there!!

This idea started out as a complete joke and then it wasn’t a joke anymore and it was planned out (by my client, swipe to slide 2) and suddenly I was painting some of my childhood fears, smiledog.

This set is not for the faint of heart.

We killed it with this freestyle set. I get to do lots of different Halloween sets, from cute and cosy autumn to Halloween characters, but I’ve never got to do a full gore set before! Thank you to my client for trusting me to go crazy and when I say freestyle, I mean my client gave me FULL creative control to go crazy. And crazy was done.

I’m loving these spooky designs! Today was something new for me, I’ve never written scripture on a set of nails (or ever) so was a fun challenge, and smashed it first time!

So some of you know I have recently been placed 13th nationally in the Rising Star category in the HBA awards! But I wouldn’t have been able to build up Luna Nails without being apart of The Loft. It’s such an integral factor into all of this!

A lot of my original clients (back in the days where i worked from a cluttered spare room at home) know that when this opportunity to move into a salon came about I was scared, hesitate and unsure about what to do but I’m SO glad that I (finally) went and viewed The Loft, and fell in love with the space. Very quickly I went from part time, to full time to CLOSING MY REGULAR BOOKS!!! And none of that wouldn’t have been achieved without The Loft. So thank you Michelle Westwood for giving me a space to grow, thrive and also sing (very loudly but I sound like Mariah Carey so it’s fine) 🖤

Fun fact- I accidentally left Michelle’s initial messages on read (something I have a habit of doing as my brain replies mentally and not physically) but here we are!

And thank you to everyone at the salon for the constant support and insane behaviour I witness on a daily!

If you told me when I moved back to Redditch and deicided to specialise in nail art, that these were the types of nails I’d be creating, I would have laughed! But im SO glad I have clients who embrace the quirky side of things! Btw, this was a “do whatever you want” type set, so I did. Hamsters. No more words.
