When all those pre-wedding facials are now paying off, helping brides achieve their best skin ready for their big day is my favourite thing🥹👰🏼

✨ FIRST TREATMENT | HEALING THE SKIN BARRIER ✨

This lovely client came to me after experiencing persistent breakouts around her chin for the past couple of years, which began after coming off the contraceptive pill.

Rather than immediately targeting the breakouts with strong, aggressive treatments, our first priority is to support and restore the skin barrier. Healthy skin is the foundation for managing breakouts long-term. 🤍

Here’s what we focused on during her first treatment:

🍫 Circadia Cocoa Enzyme
A gentle enzymatic exfoliation to help remove built-up dead skin cells without unnecessarily stripping the skin. This helps improve skin smoothness, encourage healthy cell turnover and allows the skin to better absorb the products that follow — whilst keeping the treatment barrier-conscious.

⚡ High Frequency
Used to support congested, breakout-prone areas. High frequency creates a mild thermal effect at the skin’s surface and produces oxygen, helping to create a less favourable environment for acne-causing bacteria while supporting circulation and calming the appearance of inflammation.

🍵 Circadia Green Tea Mask
Packed with soothing and antioxidant ingredients to help calm the skin and reduce the appearance of redness and irritation. Green tea is particularly beneficial for stressed, breakout-prone skin because of its antioxidant and soothing properties.

🎯 Circadia Spot Stop
Providing antimicrobial support to target acne-causing bacteria whilst calming and soothing active breakouts ultimately reducing redness and inflammation. Oat beta-glucan supporting the skins natural repair process.

✨ THE RESULT ✨
A fresh, natural glow, calmer-looking skin and — most importantly — a treatment that supports the skin rather than stripping it.

This is only the beginning of her skin journey. When the barrier is healthy and functioning properly, we can gradually introduce more advanced treatments where needed.

Remember: clearer skin isn’t always about doing more. Sometimes it’s about doing less, consistently and correctly. 🤍

✨ Real progress is built, not rushed. ✨
March 2026 ➡️ July 2026.

When we first started, our priority wasn’t aggressive treatments—it was repairing the skin barrier, reducing inflammation, and calming active breakouts. Treating acne without a healthy skin barrier often leads to more irritation and slower results.

Now that the breakouts are under control and the skin is much healthier, we’ve been able to introduce microneedling to target post-inflammatory erythema (PIE)—the red marks left behind after acne heals.

💡 A common misconception: Those red marks are active acne. They’re not. They’re tiny damaged blood vessels left behind after inflammation, and they need a different treatment approach than acne itself.

Every stage of this journey has had a purpose:
🤍 Repair the skin barrier
🤍 Calm inflammation
🤍 Reduce active breakouts
🤍 Improve overall skin health
🤍 Target acne scarring & PIE

Skin transformations aren’t about finding one miracle treatment—they’re about using the right treatment at the right time.

This is your reminder that patience, consistency, and a personalised treatment plan will always outperform quick fixes. ✨

✨ Why is my skin red after microneedling? ✨

That post-treatment redness is called erythema — a completely normal response following microneedling. As the tiny microchannels are created in the skin, your body increases blood flow to the area to kick-start the healing process and stimulate collagen production.

Erythema typically appears as mild to moderate redness, similar to a sunburn, and can last anywhere from a few hours to a couple of days depending on the treatment depth and your skin’s sensitivity.

This temporary redness is often a sign that your skin is actively repairing and renewing itself. During this time, keep your skin hydrated, avoid excessive heat and sun exposure, and follow your aftercare instructions carefully.

Healthy healing = beautiful results. ✨

Glow up, gently ✨
Circadia’s Lactic Acid Peel exfoliates, hydrates, and brightens—revealing smoother, more radiant skin with no downtime💫

Now’s the perfect time to start: with less intense sun exposure, your skin can heal and renew more effectively, giving you that fresh, dewy glow just in time for summer☀️

Noticing tiny bumps and swelling around your hair follicles after laser hair removal? That’s called perifollicular edema—and it’s actually a good sign ✨

Perifollicular edema is a short-term reaction where fluid collects around the hair follicles after the laser targets them. It can look like small raised bumps (almost like goosebumps) with slight redness.

Why does it happen?
The laser heats and damages the hair follicle, and your body responds with mild inflammation—this shows the follicle has successfully absorbed the energy.

What to expect:
• Appears within minutes to hours after treatment
• Feels warm or slightly tender
• Usually settles within a few hours to 1–2 days

How to care for your skin:
💧 Apply a cool compress if needed
💧 Use calming products like aloe vera
💧 Avoid heat (hot showers, saunas, workouts) for 48 hours
💧 Keep the area clean and avoid irritation

Bottom line: perifollicular edema is a normal, expected response—and often an indicator that your treatment is working effectively✔️ However everyone’s skin is different and reacts differently so if your skin doesn’t react like this it doesn’t mean treatment hasn’t worked too- all skin is different, we understand that and therefore treat it as such✨

Two years of consistency, care, and commitment ✨

My gorgeous clients’ skin transformation through regular microneedling has been nothing short of incredible. True skin health isn’t built overnight—it’s nurtured over time with patience, trust, and the right treatments🤍

Regular facials keep the skin balanced, deeply cleansed, and glowing, while microneedling works beneath the surface to boost collagen, refine texture, and restore that natural radiance. Together, they create results that speak for themselves👏🏽

Healthy skin is a journey—and this is what dedication looks like. Are you ready to start your journey to improved skin health?🤍
